My very sincere intention is to do a new post to my blog every Sunday morning. Of course, 'sincere intention' doesn't always translate to reality. http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com

I'll add a note on this thread when I have a new blog posted.

Be sure to check out my current website contest. www.samanthagentry.com (http://www.samanthagentry.com)

WEEK OF APRIL 5, 2015

"They" say the only two unavoidable things are death and taxes. Well, it's tax time again. And it isn't just the IRS that's expecting income tax money from us. Most states also have state income tax and many of those states have some pretty peculiar ways of getting those tax dollars. Check out my blog this week for a look at 10 Strangest Ways That States Tax You.

It's Here!! ISLAND ENCOUNTER is now officially available. Check out my blog this week for a conversation with Flynn Ormond and Traci Meredith from ISLAND ENCOUNTER. A man of wealth and power who downplays his position in order to pursue his hidden agenda. A woman with an agenda of her own. http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com (http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com/)

Vodka is certainly known as the basic liquor of many different drinks--the martini, a bloody mary, and a screwdriver among many others. But, did you know that vodka has many uses other than a drink? Check out my blog this week for a look at 9 Unusual Uses For Vodka.

WEEK OF MAY 3, 2015
Cinco de Mayo--it literally translates to the fifth of May. An official holiday in Mexico and one celebrated in the U.S. by large Mexican-American populations in most states. And, like St. Patrick's Day, a holiday where people from all ethnic backgrounds participate in the festivities. Check out my blog this week for a look at the history of the Cinco de Mayo holiday. http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com (http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com/)

WEEK OF MAY 17, 2015
The spy seems to be one of the staples of war, whether it's countries engaged in physical battle or the cold war. Over the decades, movies and television have often glamorized the image of the spy by showing him (and her) as the elegant sophisticated and handsome (or beautiful) persona who can kick butt while holding a martini glass without spilling a drop. In reality, spies are usually the nameless faceless men and women who daily risk their lives in service of their country. Check out my blog this week for a look at 10 Spies You've Probably Never Heard Of.

WEEK OF MAY 24, 2015
Spies are certainly not limited to the dashing, mysterious man stereotyped as James Bond. During the U.S. Civil War the very notion of a genteel Southern lady actually being a spy was simply an unthinkable concept. Wars over the decades...even centuries...have successfully used female spies. Check out my blog this week for for a look at 11 Famous Female Spies from History. http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com (http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com/)

The last couple of weeks I've done blogs about spies. Along with spies comes traitors. This week I take a look at some American traitors...those Americans who spied for the "other side" and betrayed our secrets. Check out my blog this week for a look at the 8 Worst American Traitors.

WEEK OF JUNE 7, 2015
There have been single events and at other times the actions of one person at a specific time that have literally changed the course of history. And many of these incidents were the results of the actions of people you've never heard of, yet incidents integral to the moment. Check out my blog this week for a look at 8 such incidents that changed everything from that time forward. http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com (http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com/)

Frivolous lawsuits...it seems that every time we turn around we're seeing another ridiculous lawsuit someone has filed, usually against a company (with deep pockets) rather than an individual. And they seem to be getting more and more ludicrous. Check out my blog this week for a look at some frivolous lawsuits too ludicrous for words. http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com (http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com/)

I think of doing a resume when job hunting to be similar to writing a synopsis of your story before writing the manuscript...a dreaded task that no one wants to do but it's necessary. Your resume needs to sell a prospective employer on you as a potentially valuable employee. Check out my blog this week for a list of 5 Things You Should Never Put On Your Resume. http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com (http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com/)
