Amazing to think of a tropical system this late in the year. Ida is packing gallons of rain in Georgia. At least there's no tornadoes, or other deadly weather.

I am in central Georgia and it is bleak and rainy. It beats a drought though I pray no one is flooded out again.

I saw photos of the floods in Atlanta of only a few weeks back. How terrible for those poor people!
We're high on a hill, so that's one thing that doesn't concern me. But high wind, and hail, does.

I heard from friends there yesterday and she said the death toll had reached 126 with many more missing. The village where I was in 05 had major damage as did the capitol San Salvador. The villages on the ocean were hit much worse of course. My heart really goes out to them. This is the second time mud slides have hit the village. Please keep them in your prayers.
