From Whiskey Creek Press under the pen name Kinzie Monroe!

Widower’s Maggie O’Brien and Carson Jennings are both on a journey to rediscover who they are. Maggie, an adventurous former pastor’s wife of thirty-nine years, hopes to find closure in the place she and her husband spent their honeymoon. Carson, a retired judge, is living his lifelong dream of traveling across the U.S. in his RV. When their paths cross in the tranquil setting of Mason Springs, New Mexico, love is the last thing that either of them expects to find.

When this mix matched pair comes together they find themselves in some hilarious and even precarious situations that will make you laugh and sometimes cry. As the romance begins to blossom they face many obstacles that threaten to tear them apart and what Maggie discovers about herself in New Mexico will redefine her future and alienate one of her children.

Will Carson and Maggie’s love for one another be strong enough to weather the storms or will their love for their children keep them apart?

Congrats for getting a Whiskey Creek contract--wow! Their print editions that I have seen are very high quality. So...why the pen name?

Thanks Danielle! Well, it seems I'm not the only Anne Patrick out there. Although she spells her name without an 'e'. As it turns out, it's probably a good idea I have a different pen for this one. I wouldn't want a suspense reader picking it up and being disappointed by the lack of murder and mayhem :o).

Really? Isn't it funny how we can come up with something someone else does and it honestly is a coincidence? I was mulling over pen names once for a genre I was considering (and passed on), and came up with Tabitha Black. I thought it sounded soooo cool--so I did a little search and duh! That name is SO taken by a great author already out there and successful.

Online--I share my name with a realtor in TN--we are always crossing paths on google!

One last thing--AFTER my first book was written and waiting to be released, I heard Angelina Jolie's mother's name was Bertrand. I was so upset for some silly reason--I thought I had discovered a unique french surname for my character!

lol...Yeah, she doesn't live here in the U.S. but she is an author at WCP. Oh well, I'm keeping it for my Suspense novels, because my mother is the one who came up with it. She was always my biggest supporter! Tabitha Black is a cool name. It's hard for me to come up with orginal names. I have no problem coming up with ideas that scare even me, but when it comes to names I always have to dig out the phone book and scan it until one jumps out at me. Go figure!
