Hey all! I'm so thrilled to be invited here to pester ya'll for all of March. Let's open up this thread here for any questions you may have for me, any questions or comments about the story we're gonna be working on together or just if you wanna chat with me. This is the place to do it!

So, a little bit about me. I'm an erotic romance author from Toronto, Canada (booyah on all our awesomness at the Olympics!) I've written for both Amira Press and Sugar & Spice Press. I love writing stories that are both sexy and highly emotional. Sexy shmoop! My current release is a romantic suspense called. Strawberry Wine with Sugar & Spice Press and I'll be giving away a copy to one lucky participating member here at the end of this month.

When I'm not writing, I of course love to read (just finished Pamela Clare's Untamed. Oh. My. Gravy.) and I love to cook too! I'm a proud TV junkie as well.

I'm all over the intergooglewebs at places like Facebook and Twitter but to get the clearerst picture about my books, you've got to check out my author site at www.ejamie.net

So in the words of those wise sages The Black Eyed Peas...Let's get it started.

Which of your erotic romance stories would you recommend to someone just getting to know your work? (I love Black-Eyed Peas, the group and the crockpot version :)

I would say my novella Redemption with Amira Press is my most popular story. It's a historical romance featuring a yummy cowboy! If you pick it up, I hope you love it and that it whets your apetite for more.

Thanks. I'm going to try to write daily but whether I do or not is another thing. I love a good cowboy story.

Glad to see someone else wrote after my paragraph from about a week ago. I've added another paragraph and can't wait to see what the next person posts. The introduction of Jason is awesome.

Wanted to give it a few days to let others pipe in before I added more. Loved your new one! Loved how you established the great friendship between them and how he is very much the Anti-Sean. Jason is definitely gonna make the green eyed monster rear up in Sean. :)

I just hate writing paragraph after paragraph. I like to see what other people write before I post something new. It makes the story more interesting and make me feel like I was writing the story myself if other people don't post.

Thanks for the compliment on my writing. I was really trying to show how close Margaret and Jason are, no matter that Sean was in the picture.

I'd really like to see the underdog get the girl anyway. LOL

Hey Nancy,

This maybe a stupid question and the answer is probably right in front of me on the thread somewhere. But where it says Historical Western...what time period is this book set in?

Your post was just yummy! :cowboy: I love how you have Maggie contemplating that Jason would just be so much more of saner choice for her! (giggles) I don't think I mentioned a specific year but I set my novella Redemption in the 1870's and I have this one in a sort of similar setting so we'll say late 19th century.

oh wow i didn't realise how different your history was to mine. this sort of situation would not have happened in the UK or it was very rare anyway. divorce was rare in that time and if a woman wanted a divorce as i understand it they had prove the husband had been unfaithful.

In this instance unfortunately Sean was and he wouldn't have contested it anyway because his pride and heart was pretty broken when Maggie pushed him away after they lost their baby. :Sniffle::Sniffle:

Thanks for letting me know what time period. I didn't want to write something that went off on the wrong path like I've done in past historical Coffee Writes.

I'm so sorry I changed the emotions between Sean and Maggie so abruptly but my internet keeps freezing on me and I couldn't go back and add the rest of what I wanted because I kept losing what I'd written.

Ah, ain't technology grand? It's okay, it still works a little, like they've turned a corner and are on their way to recovery.

The scene made me both sniffly and squirmy in a very good way!:flowers:
