Though I rather enjoyed the way my site had looked with its pretty fall season template, it really didn't look "authorly" or "personal", ya know?

I found out real fast, too, that you can't (where my site is hosted--webs) put in the code for your own personal kind of site. You HAVE to use one of their already made templates. To their credit, though, I will add that they're always adding new styles.

I found one that was a bit better. Though the white background is a bit of a strain on my eyes (hopefully, that's only me!), at least the header is somewhat more in line of what I desire.

Did I inquire as to having a professional design a site for me? Yes...a whopping $350 too! So......since my pocket isn't bulging with a wad of cash, I had to opt for a "do-it-myself".

I'd like your opinion -- how does my new site look? :)

Congrats on the website rating Miss Mae. I checked out your designs too. They're lovely. The ballet shoes has to be my favourite though.
