So I'm a little late to join the bandwagon, but I am so not an exercise enthusiast. However, when I first saw Zumba I had been looking up Hip Hop Dance lessons for my oldest. She's tired of the Tap, Jazz, and Ballet. (She took lessons for eight years.) It looked like so much fun. So then I saw a Zumba infomercial and put it on. My daughters and some friends were over. We were all captivated. Even my son. (Though I think he was captivated by the sculpted abs on the screen ;) )

This is Zumba: http://www.zumba.com/us/
Let's face it, working out can be healthy, rewarding and beneficial. Working out can be lots of things, but it's never been known to be an exhilarating experience
The ZumbaŽ program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. ZumbaŽ Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a ZumbaŽ class!
In the past years, the ZumbaŽ program has become nothing short of a revolution, spreading like wildfire, and positioning itself as the single most influential movement in the industry of fitness.
As of May 2010, the ZumbaŽ program is being taught at over 60,000 locations in 105 countries, has sold millions of DVDs, and has changed the lives of ZumbaŽ Fanatics worldwide with an astonishing 7.5 million participants taking Zumba classes every week.
Why? Because it's the best party around.
They have quite a bit more info up on the website too. Check it out! You know I did!!!

I've only been doing it for three days, and I am a little sore, but that is because I did an extra workout today and I wasn't supposed to. (I wanted to make sure that I lost extra weight.)

I'll definitely have to check that out. Want to lose some weight this year but hate exercising.
