View Full Version : Who would be your man?

Autumn Jordon
June 19th, 2010, 07:40 AM
:swinging:Hi, everyone. I'm new to CTR and looking forward to making new friends, and fans. I thought we'd play a game today. It's okay to view but more fun if you join in.

I'll post a new thread every hour today, up until 4 pm. EST. with the question, Who would be your man and name him with my guidelines. Rule: you can not name someone who as already been named by another player.

Now, if you want your fanasty man all to yourself this Saturday night, you need to be quick. Can we post pictures here? Oh, I wish we could.

Okay, let's get started and have some fun.

Who would be your man? Name a living movie actor.

Autumn Jordon
June 19th, 2010, 07:43 AM
I'll start off. I want Sean Connery. There is something to say about experience and I could listen to him all night.

What literary fiqure makes your heart race? You can't pick your own character, if your an author.

Mine guy, in Jean Auel's The Valley Of The Horses, Ayla's hero, Jondalar. His patience, caring, sense of humor and strength made him a hero to remember. :heart2::love2:

I'll wait to post another question until I get a few players.

Hi Autumn, congratulations on your Jubilee spotlight day. What an interesting question. I agree about Jondalar, I liked him too, such a strong, caring hero.

There are so many literary heros I obsessed over when reading about them. Another one I loved was Shane - in the book of the same name by Jack Schaeffer. A typical quiet hero with a past. I felt the way he sacrificed his feelings for Marion to keep her marriage and family intact, while risking his life to save them was Sooo romantic.

As for a modern actor hunk - I'm rather fond of Richard Armitage, especially when when he played the dastardly Guy of Gisborne. I liked him so much more than Robin Hood, LOL!

Oh yes, we can post pictures here. You have to go 'advanced' go to the paperclipin the menu bar, upload a picture and then come back to your post, click on the paperclip again, choose 'manage attachments' and then click on the url of your picture. When you save your post the url will show up as a picture. Like this:

Okay next question: TV Sitcom character would be your man. And no, Kelly you can't pick Jimmy Smits again.

I'm going with Jack Bauer(Keifer Sutherland 24) YUMMY:valentine4:

Happy Jubilee Day Autumn!

This is a tough question. I'm going to go with the ficitonal character first.

I love "Micah" from the Anita Blake series- he's so caring and you can tell he really loves Anita and sometimes she can be a pain but he is clearly always going to stand by her.:sweatdrop:

I think that I would like the spend the evening with a young George Peppard. I've always loved him from two movies that he did when he was young, "Breakfast At Tiffany's" and "Home From The Hill". He was also fantastic in "The Carpetbaggers".

Autumn Jordon

George was cute, wasn't he. I'd have no problem stepping into Audrey's shoes during the love scene.

Something about the men of that hollywood era, don't you think?

David Boereanaz who played Angel and Detective Booth on Bones. Mix up all those qualities and he is perfect but even just as he is he would be perfect as well. He is handsome and his personality seems to shine through his characters. I hope you had a good Jubilee day. CTR was being naughty to me and would not take me to the right pages or let me post comments.

Since I went first all day yesterday, it your turn to pick first. Pictures are welcome.

Tuesday morning Who Would Your Man Be question is inspired by Yadkny. Yea, Yadkny. But first, a commerical break.

You all know by posting your in the running for e-copies of my book Obsessed By WIld Fire, right? I'm giving away 3 copies on July first to 3 lucky winners who have posted here thru June 30.

Also on my blog, www.autumnjordonsnotes.blogspot.com (http://www.autumnjordonsnotes.blogspot.com), I'm giving away a $50.00 Barnes and Noble Certificate. There are also free reads on my blog--John and Stephanie's story (Heroine and hero from Evil's Witness)Both contests run thru June 30.

Okay back to the game. Within the players of the World Cup, who would your man be?

Having trouble with this question, go to http://soccernet.espn.go.com/world-cup/story/_/page/worldcup101-03012010/ce/us/top-50-players-2010-world-cup&cc=5901?ver=us and take your pick. This is strictly eye-candy, ladies. I get Germany's Michael Ballack. YUM

I am sooo happy that the team dominated their game yesterday (means I'll be seeing more of him in the World Cup) and their game rained the whole time, so it was nice to see him running around wet :giggle:.

Before Cristiano, David Beckham was my fav. Both of them have done some really HOT underwear ads :winkiss:.

Ah, Johnny. When a group of friends played this game, one of my girl friends always wanted Johnny. She wouldn't play unless she could have Johnny in every round. Johnny was her main man. She's gone now. I miss her and everytime I watch Johnny I smile.

Great choice!:pirate3:
