I love the discovery aspect of sci fi... new worlds, new technology, new species.

What is it about sci fi that you love? And which books do you think are the most unique?

Hi Selena!

I love the ruminations on humanity, what it means to be human and where we're going as a race and how technology ties into it. My favorite subgenres of SF are cyberpunk and dystopia (strangely enough!) but I love both with a hero/heroine that stands up against the system and gives hope to humanity. I love having strong heroines and heroes to root for. I also love diving into new worlds. I'm a sucker for good world building. :-)

I love the varied settings: from deep space, to space stations, to various alien planets. The universe is unlimited!
