View Full Version : Introduction and a question

Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself in this lounge, and to ask a question.

My name is Karen, and I am not a published author...yet. However, I have just launched a new website that contains a monthly short story erotica contest with a twist--I give you three Product Inspirations (adult toys), and one of them has to appear prominently in your story. Viewers vote on their favorite story, and the monthly winner wins all three Inspirations. (http://www.EroticStoriesAndToys.com)

Okay, that was the introduction. Now here's the question.

Sometime in the near future, I hope to add a forum to my site. I envision it being broken into two parts, writers' topics, and toy topics.

Here's something I'd like to do in the writers' section. I know that much of m/m erotica is written by women. So what I wanted to do, was find some gay men who were willing to answer very specific questions. I know I don't know enough about the 'mechanics' of m/m sex to write about it accurately/believably, and I'm figuring gay porn is about as realistic as 'regular' porn. So what I thought was, female authors who write m/m, or want to write m/m erotica, could ask very specific, personal questions, even such things as, What does it feel like for a man to have an orgasm? In a committed couple, is the same man always the bottom? and things like that.

Am I off-base for thinking something like that could be helpful? I know there are lots of questions I myself would want answered before attempting to write m/m erotica.

Anyway, sorry for the long-winded post! But I thought I'd ask for some input before looking for men willing to provide expert advice.
