Hello, I'm feeling awful lonely holding a solo conversation on this this historicals thread.
It's becoming my personal crusade to wake up all you historical romance lovers, be prince charming to all you sleeping beauties ....and get the conversation buzzing.
What was the last historical you read?
Mine was 'Love in the Afternoon' by Lisa Kleypas. I was intrigued by the heroine liking animals and was delighted by the book which held up in its own right.
Do tell me what you've just finished...surely i cant be the only historical nut out there...leave a comment and get in touch.

I went through a period where a majority of the stories I read and bought were historicals and then I went through a paranormal phase. This year I fully intend to get back to the genre that got me interested in romance. The last historical I read was Highland Treasure by Mary McCall and I absolutely loved it!

Hi Mizztara, lovely to meet you and :thankyou: for joining the conversation.
It's great to find a new genre but also good to go back to what you liked in the first place! I've just started 'Runaway Lady' by Claire Thornton. I've read several of her books and been swept up by each and every one of them - although I dont like her M&B covers much. However I discovered 'Runaway Lady' on Kindle and it's a totally scrummy read - absolutely love her characters and Harry just...swoon...delicious. A virgin hero...and all because this delightful hunk of a man has spent so much time around men!
Love to hear what you're reading next.
