Because my mind is all over the place all the time, I'll post random thoughts here.
So, I finished another story with my vampire. I also just watched the new Highlander animated movie. It's good.
The two of these things got me thinking about immortality.
Which always brings me to this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH6FjL4rClQ) by Queen.
I'm such a romantic.

I didn't know there was an animated Highlander series.
Where is that? Yes, apparently I live in a whole.:winkiss:

Not a series, Karenne. It's an animated movie.
Highlander: Search for Vengeance (http://imdb.com/title/tt0465657/).
It's made in Japan so it has a very anime feel to it.
I liked it. The heroine especially. A tough, smart redhead. My favourite type of woman. :)

What can I say? I like a woman who can handle an assault rifle. Or a man. ;)

Rob,
Where in the world did you find an animated Highlander? I love those movies. Please let me in on the secret.

Blind luck, Kissa.
I was trolling for Highlander clips over at YouTube. The trailer for the animated movie popped up.
Then I saw it at my local Blockbuster. Had to rent it. :)

Hi Rob... tell me do you like LARA CROFT and the Tomb Raider series? I figure that would be up your alley and with Angelina Jolie she is the quintessential LARA CROFT I do not believe there is anyone that could do it as well as she can and I hope they have the next one out soon. I love that series and yes we women can handle weapons whether it is a gun, knife or like me a bow and arrow. I am an archer ... so I love to do that and hit the bullseye of course.
So Rob describe your ideal HEROINE or main female character since some books do not have heroes exactly in them but main characters at least.
It will be fun to know and get to know a bit about you at the same time.

I've got to say I'm not that fond of either Lara Croft or Angelina Jolie. Mostly because I'm just such a contrary son of a bitch. ;)
My favourite heroine in fiction you've probably never heard of; Tiana Highrider of Reme, captain of the pirate ship Vixen. She was the central character in the War of Wizards trilogy by Andrew Orffutt and Richard Lyon. Those books were Demon In The Mirror, Eyes Of Sarsis and Web Of The Spider. She was equally deadly with her rapier, dagger or her tongue. I loved her.
I liked the other main character as well, Pyre of Ice. He's the type of wizard I want to be when I grow up. Subtle, sneaky and the perfect match for Tiana.
When it come to celebrities I prefer musicians.
My all time favourite is Kate Bush (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BZsXVf6INc).
Now you know, Lainey. ;)
I'm not much of an archer. But I'm a fair hand with sai, nunchuks and kama.
