Well, this is ackward. I joined your group while visiting Keri Arthur's website and I have to tell you I have no idea what I am doing or how to get around on this website so please excuse any missteps. I love to read any type of romance story, paranormal, historical, suspense or fantasy. Really enjoy love reading series like Keri Arthur's but hate it when there is a long lag between books.

What I want to know know is what the heck LOL stands for??????

Hi Babs, and welcome, I am not sure, I think, laugh out loud, or laugh on line, at least that is how I use it. I am not good at all the internet things but am learning some of them...I am learning about the different new sites on the forum, too, I am still shy at getting around and actually going into some of the sites

again welcome

Thanks for the warm responses. It has been fun working my way around the various links. What I would like to know is how you all found such fun pictures to attach to your Bio information? I think I have had as much fun looking at those as I have had reading all of the "threads" (is that right?) Anyway, thank you all for the nice responses.

Glad you're enjoying the threads in the different forums.

I'm giving you a link to a thread on Keri Arthur's forum that has information about posting and it's titled Information About Posting... (http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/board/showthread.php?t=2151) I posted the info there because most of the people asking for it were on that thread posting with me. LOL! It will have just about everything you need to know. To get an avitar click on User CP (http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/board/usercp.php) and under Settings & Options look for Edit Avatar (http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/board/profile.php?do=editavatar) and then you can choose your avatar from your home pics or from one on the web.

Hope this answers your questions.

I LOL'd out loud. :balloon:

It took me a few to start moving through here comfortably so don't feel bad--I'm supposed to be a computer specialist. hehe

Irish Wolf, thanks for the information. Now all I have to do is figure out what picture to use. Thank for the link as well, it is helpful.

AngelaSteed, while not a computer specialist, I spend my workday on the computer as well, but this has been a whole new experience. It has been fun, thanks for cheering me up.

Hey Babs,

Well, my younger brother says it means "laugh out loud," I had to learn all those abbreviations too. If I hadn't asked David I would've had no idea what the heck it meant either!

Welcome to our home on the web. You will love it here, we have some great folks that post here. :-)

To Irish Wolf, what you sent me was a BIG help, you should post it where others can benefit from it.

Thanks Babs!

Karenne and I actually have a place to get pointers now and I have posted the info about how to get an avatar in there. It's called Posting Pointers (http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=339) and there will be new pointers at least once a week. So if you should need help you can check that out or private message me if what you're looking for isn't there.

Happy posting!!
