View Full Version : The Re-Release of my Debut Novel

September 3rd, 2007, 06:05 PM
Hello Everyone,
It's been a long time since I've darkened the doorway here, but I got a nice computer-generated invitation to come back, so here I am. It's good timing because on Friday, September 7th, Eternal Press, http://www.eternalpress.com.au
is having a launch party and among the releases from this new publisher is Prairie Peace. It was my debut novel in 2003, but after having finally found time to actually sit and READ the book, I was aghast at all the boo boos that were overlooked in the editing process. I'm not talking misspellings, I'm talking head-hopping, word echoing, and just general weak sentence structure. With the help of Deb, one of the fab editors at EP, I've honed it into a much better read and I'm hoping people will get to know or renew their relationship with Cecile, Walt and Lone Eagle.

Blurb: The cruel hand of fate forces a pioneer woman to make a very difficult choice or face death. Tormented by society's prejudices, she must later choose between a past love and her present life. PRAIRIE PEACE begins…

I look forward to interacting with you on the forums on a more regular basis. If anyone is interested in signing up to be tortured with the other 500 plus members of my newsletter, please visit my website at http://www.gingersimpson.com and submit your name. I promise I won't injure you too badly.

P.S. Join Eternal Press for their launch party on September 7th. It's an all-day affair on their yahoo reader's loop. http://www.eternalpressreaders@yahoogroups.com
