I just joined today. I was looking for something new to read at the bookstore. My girls helped me pick out Keri Arthur's novel "Full Moon Rising" and I fell so in love with Riley's character that I went back the next day and bought all of the others. I have enjoyed evey one.

I am a 52 year old divorced mother of 3 grown children who are either in school or working and we share the household expenses like roomies.

I love anything to do with dragons, motorcycles, fantasy, anime, witches, demons, fairys and, of course, anything to do with sex is fine with me. Totally irresponsible for someone my age but oh well.

I am an avid reader and would rather do that than watch TV or do something just say I am doing it. Sometimes my housework suffers if I get a hold of a really good story. I am just finishing up Anne Bishop "Tir Alain" series and have read "The Black Jewel Trilogy" which were all fascinating stories.

I am a, soon to be retired, factory worker and have been a nurse. I live in Kentucky and around a lot of horse farms.

I am glad to have found a place to discuss the stories I like with fellow enthusiasts. Bye for now.

:welcome: Deborah!! Glad to have another Keri (and Riley) fan in the forums!! We are fun people, but I warn everyone that we do get off topic there, however, we come back to it after a while. If you want to bring something up, feel free to do so. We'll answer it.

You're interests in books are about the same as mine, so that's cool! Nothing is irresponsible unless you want it to be, so have fun reading the books you want.

Since you said that you like dragon books I wanted to ask, have you read the Aisling Grey, Guardian novels by Katie MacAlister? I'm finishing the first one and so far it is a very enjoyable read. I can't wait to get the next one.

Hi Deborah,

Welcome to the forum, great to see you here. Most of the folks are pretty sane and fun, just watch out for when they invite you to the backwoods though, they tend to have the occassional chain saw party out there...

Welcome Deborah, you've named some of my favorite kinds of novels too! But surely you read the deed responsibly *winks* Welcome to Coffee Time!

:welcome: to CTR Deborah.

:whoohoo: another Keri fan that is fantasticCheerleader

Be careful of SJ when he invites you into the backwoods. :tt2: We need to put the jacket back on him he's been out of it too long Dani

If he keeps inviting people to the chainsaw party that he wants to have he will go back into the jacket and it will be tied in triple knots. :roflmao:

October 1st, 2007, 01:50 AM
 and SJ is going to have to stay triple knotted if he doesn't start behaving himself

October 1st, 2007, 01:52 AM
I'm going to have to fashion something different for him to be in, because I think he might be figuring out how to get out of that jacket.

October 1st, 2007, 01:59 AM
Hmmm surely he couldn't possibly get out of a triple knotted jacket. If he does he's definitely one slippery little sucker

October 1st, 2007, 02:00 AM
I'm hoping that he can't get out of it, but you never know. :nah:

October 1st, 2007, 02:02 AM
I thought he could only get out of that jacket if one of us let him out but maybe not like the saying says if there's a will there's a way

Chainsaws and straight jackets. I must be in the right place. Thanks for the warm welcome.

I have just finished reading Anne Bishop's "Black Jewels Trilogy" and the "Tir Aliain Triology" Both are very good.

I have also read all five of the Riley Jensen Guardian series. I love her. All of Keri's characters just leap out at you. I think I love Jack and Roahn most of all. Her brother is just too funny he also sounds hot.

Of course there is Quinn, Kade and Kellen, all of whom sound quite yummy.

Thanks for the heads up on those books that you are reading. Always on the look out for something new and exciting.

See you later, Deb.

Yeah, we have to keep S.J. in line with the chainsaw. That's why he's in a straight jacket most of the time.

I'm glad you liked the heads up on the books. They are really good. Speaking of books, did you see that The Darkest Kiss (Riley book 6) will be out in April 2008? Keri just found that out today and we're really excited about it!! Cheerleader

Yes, I saw that on her site and cannot wait. She always weaves a really great murder mystery in with all the yummy men. I hope Shadow plays a bigger role (no pun intended):censored:

I can tell you from finding this out (and asking her as well) that if Keri puts the character up on the Character profiles for the Riley Jenson Series page on her site then you will be seeing more of them and Ben's there, so you get the idea.

October 3rd, 2007, 06:17 PM
Hmmm more of Ben (aka Shadow) I like the sound of that

Hi Deborah:
Welcome to CTR! You'll love it here.

Kentucky is so beautiful. My DH hails from there and we go back and visit every couple of years (the Louisville area) and it's soooo gorgeous to drive through in the fall. I even look forward to going there in winter with the snow falling (I'm from Louisiana, we don't get a lot of the white stuff here.. lol.. lots of ice sometimes, but where's the fun in that?)

Super glad to meet you!

Have a great weekend!
