On your shelf of MUST keepers, what makes them keepers? Have you found a common thread in the books you love?
I've found that the romances I love have to be full of sexual tension. The romance cannot come easy. I also want fast-paced stories - and heroes I can fall in love with. Genre doesn't really play into it for me, as long as the other factors are there. Oh, and I do like banter between the hero and heroine.
I think I'm working on my third tub full of books that are keepers. Every year when my husband gets down the Christmas decorations he asks me if he can throw away those tubs. I just give him the death stare.
