View Full Version : Introducing Myself
October 5th, 2007, 09:30 AM
I just joined this great site. Haven't had much time to look around, but I intend to get to that very soon. A little about myself. I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband and four children. I'm a stay at home Mom as well as a romance author. My very first book, The Blue Lotus, came out on Sept. 10th at Liquid Silver Books. That one is a paranormal. My second book which is a historical, is coming out sometime this Nov. at New Concepts Publishing. I'm getting excited about that. Besides loving to write and read, I go the gym a few times a week. Not much else to say LOL.

:Looks around ans is surprised no ones warned her about the woods:
Hi Marisa, I have this wonderful writer's retreat in the woods, would you like me to show you the way...
October 6th, 2007, 07:02 PM
Stay out of the woods when SJ is around Marissa.
October 6th, 2007, 07:14 PM
*Sings* If you go down to the woods today you're in for a big surprise...
But I'm so gentle and sweet and I write such lovely love poetry....
October 6th, 2007, 07:22 PM
Go ahead and finish singing SJ I want to hear how the rest of the song goes
October 6th, 2007, 08:07 PM
LOL SJ. So I take it your the big bad wolf of the woods ha ha. You never know I could be up to the challenge of your woods LOL.
October 6th, 2007, 08:35 PM
Are you sure you want to go into the woods Marissa? SJ will be out of his straight jacket
October 6th, 2007, 08:37 PM
Hummm, will have to think about that then. Doesn't sound good if he is out of his straight jacket LOL.
October 6th, 2007, 08:56 PM
Marisa, S.J. likes to play with chainsaws while he's in the woods, so you can imagine what happens. Unless you have some kind of taser gun or a weapon of your own, I'd stay away from the woods when he's out of the straight jacket. That's the reason why he's usually tied up in it.
S.J. honey, you may write beautiful poetry, but we can't always trust you without the jacket. :roflmao:
October 6th, 2007, 08:59 PM
Okay here's a tip if you're planning on going to the party in the woods just make sure you don't go alone. You may need a bodyguard
October 6th, 2007, 09:12 PM
Ok, chainsaws aren't a good thing. All I have in way of defense is big ass kicking boots. Not much help when it comes to going up against a chainsaw.
October 6th, 2007, 09:18 PM
That's okay Marisa, just run the opposite way when you see the chainsaw coming.
He's actually a great guy, but he likes to joke a lot.
October 6th, 2007, 09:29 PM
 SJ is a great guy who you will get a lot of laughs out of :)
October 6th, 2007, 09:44 PM
I figured he was a good guy, he does write poetry in the woods after all LOL. Think I'm going to have a good time here :).
October 6th, 2007, 09:46 PM
It's great fun here.
S.J.'s got an Authors Coffee Corner that has some great stuff to read, especially the DD3 reports. They're a blast! You should check it out.
October 6th, 2007, 09:54 PM
OMG the DD3 reports are so funny to read. I love those but his poems are great too. You sure do need to check his section out :)
October 6th, 2007, 10:04 PM
Ok you both have me interested. I'll make a point of checking it out then.
October 6th, 2007, 10:08 PM
I'm glad we could interest you.
