I'm startled that many people are viewing the "Post your assignments here" thread but not the actual assignments.

You really need to read what you're supposed to do before you do it. ;-)

I wonder if there's a problem with my post of assignments. Maybe it doesn't show up on the board or something. Could someone please tell me if you can see the thread "Assignments (don't reply to this thread)" ?

Good. That's at least one who can see it. :-)
I'm new to teaching in forum format (my online classes use Yahoo Groups format) so want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Brand new to this forum, but I found it, yes. Reading now.

I can see them. I'll be jumping in later today if that's alright.

Thanks for letting me know that you can see it, Branna. This is reassuring.
Yes, of course you can jump in later today. That's one of the advantages of an online seminar: we can participate at whatever time suits us. :-)

Yeah, it works :)

I see it and went to it. Thanks.

I don't think you need to worry about "view" numbers.
:) People who aren't even attending the seminar can view a thread. It doesn't always mean anything significant.

I'm confused. My lesson is ready to post, but post don't wanna post it in wrong thread.

In the main list of threads there is a link that says something to the effect of POST ASSIGNMENT HERE. That is the right place to post it! I hope that helped :)
