Hi everyone,

I have been discussing what turns readers on and was wondering if I could get some feedback from everyone.

A reader mentioned that muscled men weren't a turn on for her, and she liked the thin Goth type.

So it made me think. What turns women on? A smile, bodytpe (muscular or sinewy) or is it not a physical thing at all but a man with a heart, etc...

Thanks everyone,

Happy Holidays,

Beautiful eyes and a great smile can do more to turm me on than a hard body (not that they don't do it either...LOL). They have to be attached to a guy with a great personality and a good sence of humor of course.

I have a friend on my MySpace page that I just love (not that he's put up his pic lately). He's handsome and he has the most beautiful eyes and a great smile and he's got an average/athletic body type. He still looks great in a tight sweater though. Lusty Drool Smilie

Okay, if he ever reads this I'm so totally dead. Well, maybe not dead, but very embarrassed cause I'm not his type to date.

I had to add in here a couple more examples of men like I described and they are Jude Law and Gerard Butler. They both have beautiful eyes and great smiles. :swoon:

I think it's more the way a guy behaves and interacts with other people that's a turn-on. Is he kind to kids and elderly people and the way he treats subordinates. Of course I'm a bit shallow so a pretty wrapping will attract me, but if it comes without any substance, I'm not interested.

xmasreindeer looks are a bonus (hopfully a big one) but personality is the more important

Looks are good, but I think I like his style, personality, the way he interacts with you, and manners are good too

Thanks for responding ladies.

I have to say that I agree completely with pretty much everyone. I think what makes a man great is very much his personality and the way he treats others.

Of course, I use my ex as a guide for this... :gun_bandana: He was usually awful to other people, including me. He had his great moments, like everyone, but when it came down to it (looking back, of course) he could be shallow and cruel.

So, I think that taking it a step beyond the looks department is important. Of course, in writing fiction, why can't a man have it all! Looks and personality. That's probably why I write. LOL
