I wanted to introduce you all to Muze. He is a part of Book Promo 101 and his column is called "Muze's Musings". He has a blog by the same title that he let's me use :)

Throughout the book, Muze pops into the content and he shares tips, website links or other information that is relevant to the topic in the chapter.

He is a celebrity at the vet - ever since they found out he's in a book :)

Nikki

PS - This is one of his "buddie" - the other is my cat Shadow.

Hi Folks; I live in Nova Scotia and have been writing for ten years or so, published with Wings epress and Champagne Books in contemporary romance and romantic suspense. I'm always looking for innovative ways to promote my work, prefearably without a lot of stress or expense. I'm not that into my space or blogging, but what works well for me are craft sales and convincing :gun_bandana:a CEO I know that his best customers would appreciate more of my novels for their wives. It has worked extremely well up to now, lol. I know I have some 60 sales with him for the printed version of A Spirited Liaison coming out in April.:swoon:

Tomorrow I'm giving a reading for a group that came about by selling a book at Xmas time to the social chairman. Any new ideas are appreciated and I know Nikki is full of them. Carol McPhee

Latest release: Something About That Lady available in ebook format at www.champagnebooks.com (http://www.champagnebooks.com/)

Other releases:

60 sales to one person - I like that :) I want to convince a rental company or two on the Outer Banks that they should put a copy of my Cape Hatteras mystery in each of their rental cottages. I'm still working on the pitch :)

Its great to have you with us Carol. I've posted some info and some links to free promotional help. The first chapter of Book Promo 101 is also posted along with the questions from the chapter.

Feel free to ask questions, thoughts or comments. I've got hundreds of topics I could talk about, but its more effective to find out what specific things the people here would like to know about.

By the way, you really should have a blog. Its great exposure for you and your books and you could even have a blog along with a few friends, that way you don't have to think of something to post all the time ;) Lots of interesting ways to use blogs -- and its FREE. My favorite stuff :)

He is more than a bit spoiled, but he is a lot of company while I'm writing. Adding a column to Book Promo 101 for him seemed like a natural thing to do. I'm just glad Shadow doesn't know :)
