Well, the first Radio Free Bliss podcast with a real-life victim ... ahem, guest! ... is ready. If you'd like to listen to ASHLEY LADD talk about her writing, southern Florida, and mishaps with technology, get along to Radio Free Bliss (http://radiofreebliss.ksaugustin.com) now.
You can listen to the podcast on the website, or download to your computer for later listening, or even send it to your MP3 player for the ultimate in portability.
One of April's guest authors will be ALEXIS FLEMING. And I have the lovely CAROL LYNNE in May! I can't wait. So pay the website a visit ... and happy listening! :)

I talk with Alexis Fleming, author of romances right across the sub-genre spectrum. She gives us a verbal postcard of New South Wales, Australia, that will make you green with envy; discusses what it's like to write with fellow author, Lyn Cash; tells us how she got started; and what's next for her!
Pop across to the Radio Free Bliss website (http://radiofreebliss.ksaugustin.com) for a listen. If you enjoy these podcasts, please consider subscribing. It's a hassle-free way of making sure you're up-to-date with all the podcast interviews as they're aired.

I talk with MARLENE SATTER, a freelance editor and harp practitioner. She plays the harp to the injured, and those in assisted living, and has some fascinating insights to share.
I also speak with her alter-ego, author LEE BARWOOD, and the emergence of a brand new sub-genre ... ECOFICTION. This is suspense or romantic suspense with an environmental twist.
If this sounds interesting, why not head across to the Radio Free Bliss website (http://radiofreebliss.ksaugustin.com/) for a listen? Next month I have CAROL LYNNE at the mic, so make sure you don't miss out.

I managed to trap CAROL LYNNE into giving me an interview. She is a very gracious and down-to-earth person.
We discussed her love for the gay romance sub-genre, whether she thinks there are too many gay romances out there, and she tries to convince me of how beautiful Kansas is! :)

After an extended and reluctant hiatus (for which I heartily apologise), Radio Free Bliss (http://radiofreebliss.ksaugustin.com) is back on the air. This time, I interviewed dramaturg, poet, playwright, author and critic, JoSelle Vanderhooft (http://www.josellevanderhooft.com). JoSelle had so much interesting stuff to talk about, including her struggle with depression, that it was tough getting it under my 50-minute cut-off. I hope she, and any listeners, donít find it too choppy as a result.
The interviewing schedule is full for 2008, so I hope youíre keeping up-to-date. I have heaps of wonderful authors that Iíve yet to interview.

Lori Devoti, accomplished romance author, took time from her busy schedule to talk to me. Youíll find the interview at RADIO FREE BLISS. Lori talks about how she crafts the dreaded synopsis, what happened with her first manuscript, the importance of being a versatile writer, branding, and Madison, Wisconsin. We cover a lot of ground in a surprisingly short time.
To hear the interview (or download it for later listening), go to the Radio Free Bliss (http://radiofreebliss.ksaugustin.com) website. Happy listening!
