Somebody help me... I got a little excited at the garden center this weekend. Came home with 20 daffodils, 80 grape hyacinths, and 100 tulips.... plus I have to plant grass today and pull out my zinnias.

Well, i got another portion of the yard fertilized and ready for over seeding. i'm a Fescue girl because I love green grass in the winter. The grass we planted weekend before last is already coming up. I just love baby grass. (DH says I love baby anything...) Need to buy more fertilizer before I can continue.

snicker snicker...Oh I am just as bad! I wish you lived close by ...we could have a planting party..complete with margaritas...THAT would make planting better (says the crazy woman who has 200 tulips and daffodils to plant herself)

Congrats on the new grass! Steer poop...(yes, I couldn't spell maneurer...?) Anywayt that is the best thing to put in with your grass...of course you should have put it in BEFORE you put the grass in.

Remember if you put fertilizer on it now (at least most of them) you will burn your new grass! That would be bad! :chris:

If you use seed starting fertilizer, it won't burn. And that's what I used. :)

I found a bag of crocus bulbs I bought yesterday... I'm starting to wonder where the heck I'm going to plant all these. :)

Also thinking about what I need to divide and move this fall...

anyplace that you have a naked spot...spot by the garage that you haven't been able to figure out what to put there....corner spot in the flower bed, under your fruit trees.
