Frozen Bread Dough (comes in three or four loaves in frozen food section)
Jimmy Dean hot sausage or hot bulk pork sausage
2 cups or more of Shredded Cheddar or any cheese you like

Thaw out a loaf of the dough and press out flat on a greased cookie sheet.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is preheating, cook sausage and drain thoroughly. I also pat the grease off with a paper towel. Place the sausage on the flattened raw dough and press lightly into it with hands. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Then carefully roll it up longwise like a jellyroll, tucking in the short ends first, making sure to seal the open edge and place it on the top, so it won't leak out. Cook for about 25 to 35 minutes untill the bread is golden brown.

Let rest for about 10 minutes or so then slice the into 1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces.

This is also called Indian Bread around here. My husband calls it MINE! and other things like BACK OFF, YUM YUM YUM. It's good at room temperature too. And it looks great when you slice it. I love the hot sausage but you can use mild too.
