Iíve been writing stories all my life, and once upon a time I decided to pursue publishing. I was offered my first contract in 2006 from Siren Publishing for my book Body, Heart and Soul. It was probably not until the fourth contract that I stopped thinking someone had made a terrible mistake. lol Since then I've gone on to win numerous best book awards from reviewers and was even nominated as favorite author in the CAPAs in 2007.

Life took a rather dark turn for me a few years back and sadly writing got put on the back burner. I have risen from the ashes though, a stronger and braver woman. I recently moved to Orlando to be near my beloved Disney World and to chase all the dreams I've ever had! I'm also back to writing full time and have developed a long running serial as my latest project.

Starlight Key (http://starlightkey.blogspot.com) is a new way of storytelling that is bold, dramatic and definitely sexy! The stories of the Key are open ended, the lives of its residents intertwine and the secrets and relationships unfold slowly over time. Get ready for drama, mystery, sexy immortals, villains you'll love to hate, explicit sex, BDSM clubs, men that will set fire to your soul and long drawn out love affairs! For more info visit the Starlight Key Page on my website (http://samanthalucas.com).

Though I've signed over 20 publishing contracts now, my absolute favorite stories, and the ones closest to my heart, have been the latest in The Seduction Series a series I created to show that it's never too late to wake up to your dreams and live the life you've always wanted. This is a long running series available through Siren Publishing (http://www.bookstrand.com/samantha-lucas), but the last two books released, The Seduction of Anne Ruby and The Seduction of Destiny Rhode are my first attempts at sharing the world of BDSM as I personally discovered it about a year and a half ago. These books are light on kink, but heavy on what I found to be the most amazing discovery ever, the bond between Dom and sub. I'd be honored if you'd check them out.

I love to hear from readers with questions or comments, so feel free to contact me here, or through my web site at www.samanthalucas.com (http://samanthalucas.com) Until then, here's a listing of my work and for more info on any of these stories, again, please visit me on the web.

Welcome to the forums Samantha! bhowdysmilie.gif

It looks like you've had an exciting life growing up. I have to say that I'm a little jealous that you got to do some of those things (especially working at Disneyland). I'm going to have to check out your books because they look interesting (I went to your site to browse around).

How do you like having your own section here so far?

Thank you Dani!

I've been trying to get over here for a while, but I may seriously be the most disorganized person on the planet. lol I think I'm going to like it here, I have rooms at a couple of my publishers, so the format is familiar at least. :)

And I will talk anyone to death, who'll sit still long enough, about Disneyland or Disney World. :right: I'm completely hopeless in that reguard. lol

I love Disney World. I live about an hour and a half West of there and I go when I can. I need to take my son over to ride the new Toy Story ride that just opened. It looks cool! I also want to go on the Stitch ride they have because every time I've been there it's been closed. I really want to get out to Disneyland because A) I've never been and B) they have Sleeping Beauty's castle there (she's my favorite princess). Someday I'll get there.

If y'all are going to Disney, don't forget me for crying out loud! lol

In CA I lived on the same street as Disney so the kids and I would walk up there every afternoon it was fabulous! Now I'm about a 15 hour drive-- I think --away from Disney World. :Sniffle: But at least it is within driving range, so I can't complain too much.

I went last year for my birthday, and Dale and I are talking about going this year around Christmas...of course greedy me, I'm still trying to talk Kevin or Mark into going in September right after the crowds die down. lol

Disneyland, Dani, in my opinion, is so much better DisneyWorld's Magic Kingdom. Most people think they are the same, and to a certain degree they are, but consider this...for 50+ years, the Disneyland people had been putting all their money, and creative resources into one park. (They only recently started to move out by adding California Adventure) Where at Disney World, they've opened three other parks, two water parks, entertainment complexes, and hotel after hotel.

Which on the whole, I think makes Disney World soooo much more fun than Disneyland, but if you're comparing apples to apples, I like Disneyland better...make any sense at all? lol

It makes a lot of sense. Does Disneyland have more room though to add more like they are starting to do? I think that's why they bought all the land in Orlando when they did, so they have the option to open more places near the Magic Kingdom. I still want to experience Disneyland even though I've lived so close to Disney World all my life.

Should I not mention that I'm going to Disney World in about 2 weeks? Friends (more like family) are coming down from Georgia and they have time share, so we're staying at the Old Key West Resort. I looks to be a great time! One of my little "nephews" can't wait for me to take him on the Tea Cups because I spin it faster than him mommy! LOL!

You better share them!!!

What kills me, is I have an annual pass to Disney World at the moment, and I just want to be able to GO!!! sheesh

Dale and I have talked about buying a timeshare down there, do your friends find it useful?

And yes you're exactly right about the land. One of the whole reasons Disney World exists is because Walt realized his California mistake almost immediately. When he sent people to Florida to start buying up land it was done all very hush hush too.

I definitely think a trip to the original is always worth it! Plus like I said, it's a better park, I think. New Orleans Square is one of my favorite places on the planet, and Fantasmic just seems so much more magical in the Disneyland setting. You should see their Fantasyland too, it's like a little German village and they have different rides, like The Storybookland Canal Boats and The Casey Jr Circus Train. Plus the setting for It's a Small World is just SOOOOO different! If you can make it at Christmas, it's amazing! They change the song inside and light the place like Clark Griswold's house in Christmas Vacation!

Also, especially if you're as geeky as me about this stuff, it's different if for no other reason, because Walt was such a part of that park. It's so sad thaty he died before Disney World even opened. :(

Do you think I should add a Disney Thread for all this? lol I've never found other people who wanted to talk Dsiney before! This is toatlly cool. :)

This is the first time that they've used it I think (they got it when they came down last time). It looks nice where they are going to stay and they are opening a new vacation resort opening up near Animal Kingdom. The rooms you get a choice of three different size rooms for your needs. I have all the information for the vacation club and we were going to join it, but we decided against it. Mainly because we live so close and it wouldn't benefit us as much.

If you want to start a Disney thread go for it. I could talk a lot probably about Disney.

I'm dusting things off in here and opening back up my little home here on the Coffee Time Forums. I've updated the main post here with my current bio. SO much has happened to me in the past few years, but I'll slowly catch you up in the Day in the Life thread, but I'm excited to be back... here, writing... the land of the living! ;-) Can't wait to see what happens next!
