GAUGE:
10 sc + 11 rnds = 4 in. (10 cm), before felting BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
1. Bag is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.
2. To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over; yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. For short distances, carry color not in use underneath stitches. For longer distances, fasten off old color.
3. Bag is worked in continuous rounds; do not join and do not turn at the end of rounds.
4. The chart design may pull to one side as rounds are worked. Shift chart design one stitch over, if desired, to compensate.</TD></TR><TR><TD align=left>
