Thirteen Spicy Menage a Trois erotic romances

A menage a trois is defined in the dictionary as a domestic establishment or household that consists of a husband, a wife and a lover. They’re hot in the erotic romance world and very popular with readers. Since Fringe Benefits (http://www.jasminejade.com/ps-5045-50-fringe-benefits.aspx), my menage a trois story is out on Friday from Ellora’s Cave, I thought I’d run through some of my favorite titles and authors in this arena. In no particular order…

1. Jory Strong (http://www.jasminejade.com/m-159-jory-strong.aspx) - I’d be hard-pressed to choose my favorite from Jory’s titles. They’re not all menage a trois but no matter what Jory writes, the story is hot and a great read.

2. Maya Banks (http://samhainpublishing.com/authors/maya-banks) - also writes some good books. Sometimes the bed is even more crowded!

3. Decadent (http://www.amazon.com/Decadent-Shayla-Black/dp/0425217213/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226538265&sr=1-2) by Shayla Black

4. Lauren Dane (http://www.jasminejade.com/m-49-lauren-dane.aspx) - her upcoming title Undercover (http://www.amazon.com/Undercover-Lauren-Dane/dp/0425224643/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226539033&sr=1-1) is a threesome. Also check out her Ellora’s Cave backlist. I always enjoy Lauren’s books.

5. Lora Leigh (http://www.loraleigh.com/) - I’m a huge Lora Leigh fan and recently enjoyed reading Wicked Pleasure (http://www.amazon.com/Wicked-Pleasure-Bound-Hearts-Leigh/dp/0312368720/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226539093&sr=1-1).

6. Opal Carew’s Twin Fantasies (http://www.amazon.com/Twin-Fantasies-Opal-Carew/dp/0312367783/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226537582&sr=1-2).

7. Annmarie McKenna’s Blackmailed (http://samhainpublishing.com/authors/annmarie-mckenna).

8. Dawn Halliday - Honeymoon Castaways (http://samhainpublishing.com/romance/honeymoon-castaways)

9. Samantha Kane (http://www.jasminejade.com/m-263-samantha-kane.aspx) - hot regency historicals. Pick one. http://www.shelleymunro.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

10. Lorelei James (http://samhainpublishing.com/authors/lorelei-james) - I’ve mentioned her books before. Some of the books in her western series have menage a trois scenes. I’m saving her latest release, Rough, Raw and Ready (http://samhainpublishing.com/romance/rough-raw-and-ready) for the weekend when I’ve completed my word count.

11. Lynn LaFleur - Michelle’s Men (http://www.jasminejade.com/pm-5672-101-michelles-men.aspx)

12. Tielle St. Clare - Summer’s Caress (http://www.jasminejade.com/pc-6127-25-summers-caress.aspx) Some very hot werewolves.

13. Fringe Benefits by Shelley Munro

http://www.shelleymunro.com/blog/wp-content/fringbenefits115x173.jpgFlatmates. Best friends. Casual lovers.

Life’s good—a friends-with-benefits deal works perfectly with her male flatmates, but Marie Wright secretly craves more. A hot threesome. Erotic pleasure. Silken touches from both Shane and Kelvin. One hot summer day the sensual tension explodes between the three. For Marie each caress is a slice of ecstasy. It’s seductive magic, and she’s bewitched. Momentary pleasure isn’t enough. She wants a future with her lovers—a permanent ménage a trois—but if she makes a wrong move, she might irreparably destroy their friendship and lose everything.

Read an excerpt here (http://www.shelleymunro.com/books/fringe-benefits/). Buy your copy from Ellora’s Cave on 14 November 2008.

Have I missed any of your favorites? Do you think a menage a trois relationship is plausible or do you think there would be too many problems to overcome?

I think a menage is possible but it would be hard work and thanks for the new wish list :lovepounce:

I've read quite a few of these authors books.

I love Lorelei's cowboy series they are awesome.

Blackmailed by Annmarie McKenna I have in print. Cole is such a hottie and so is his best friend Tyler.

Maya Banks book - Brazen is fantastic. Can I have the two hotties in that book? Pretty please!

Dawn Halliday's Honeymoon Castaways is also really good!

It was only 50 or so pages long. So it didn't take me long to read. LOL

I bought three menage a trois stories a while back from Samhain Publishing that were really good. One by Lorelei James called Wicked Garden, another by Jess Dee called A Question of trust and the third one was by Jayne Rylon called Nice and Naughty. I also got another one the other day called Tequila Truth and it's by Mari Carr. I recommend all four books.

My ohh my Bec... I guess we know what you like to read.

You're not alone!

I went ahead and took your recomendation. And the excerpt matched the book... Well done, Shelley.

You made three work for a happily-ever-after!

Thanks, Bec! Thanks, Catherine. I'm so glad you both enjoyed Fringe Benefits.

Bec - I haven't read Wicked Garden, but I've read just about all of Lorelei's other books. She's a great writer. I finished Rough, Raw and Ready last night. That was a really good read, and I liked what she did with her characters.

Yeah I love Edgard, Trevor and Chassie. I especially liked the part where at the bar they were at when Chassie got rid of that woman harassing Edgard. That was so funny!

Have you read Cowgirl Up and Ride? I love the first chapter between Amy Jo and Cord where she does the shot and she tells Cord what the drink is called and he almost chokes. LOL
