Skill level: Intermediate



Make a foundation chain of the required length, or work row 1 directly into the item to be trimmed with right side facing. (multiple of 16 stitches + 1)



Row 1: 1 ch, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, *1 sc in each of next 7 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 sc in each of next

7 ch, 3 sc in next ch, rep from * to end, omitting 1 dc at end of last rep, turn.

Row 2: 1 ch, 2 sc in first sc, *1 sc in each of next 7 sc, skip 2 sc, 1 sc in each of next 7 sc,

3 sc in next sc, rep from * to end omitting 1 dc at end of last rep.

Rep row 2 for required length. Fasten off.
