It is August 7th already here in the Antipodes and sometime after midnight tonight (my time) Eternal Press will release "A Soldier's Woman." They are a new publisher for me, but I have lurked at their last two "release parties" to get the feel of how they run and have everything ready at this end.
Eternal Press are not the only new thing on my block. I invested some of my hard-earned writing dollars in a promotional package and it should kick in with this book release and run for six months while I monitor the returns in royalty statements and website hits to see if it makes any difference.
In the meantime, I can bask is the warm glow of a good review for "Snow Drifter" (food for the writing soul, if nothing else) and keep working. Here's the link to it: http://www.nightowlromance.com/nightowlromance/reviews/Review.aspx?daoid=4102

I would be interested to see how your efforts go. Best of luck!

I always monitor website, blog, myspace etc., hits and compare them to the royalty statements as they arrive to see if any correlation exists between them and my efforts (the downside of an engineering background) so I've no doubt I'll post something if any trends develop.
My experience so far suggests that dwell time on the publisher's front page is the most significant factor, with everything else, reviews, contests, excerpts, etc., following so far behind as to be inconsequential.
This may mean I'm doing things wrong...or nothing, and the current effort is to find out more.
