...since I posted here. I have been in a great period of transition in my life and among the things I allowed to fall to the side were my promo activities and pretty much all the forums I used to frequent.

Things are somewhat more settled now; enough for me to realize just how out of touch I have become with my readers and the romance community. Oh sure, I still went to RT and I have been plugging along editing and writing. But that was about it.

Anyway, I'm going to attempt to shake that and spread my time out. Twitter is great for quickie stuff and facebook too... but that is really only a portion of the possible communication options.

Hollie, thank you for mentioning Coming Together. While there is no doubt that Alessia is the driving force for those endeavors I do help out on occasion and I am very proud of those books!

As for books from me... I will have a new contemp erotic romance short released on Aug 31st and have a shapeshifter book in revisions and the long delayed Real Vampires Don't Surf is 2/3rds finished and will be out before too much longer.

My shifter story, Cat's Eye, was released this week by Phaze.

Cat's Eye

Life is not a pleasant thing. It is something you survive, not enjoy. This is what Bonnie knows and what she has lived. Hope is something for politicians, preachers and salespeople. That's what life has taught her. Reality is pain.

When Todd Lundquist extended his hand and offered something else, Bonnie reacted the way life had taught her. By defending what she had and ignoring the hope of something better. But she never forgot what he did and she never forgave herself for saying no. And she most certainly never forgot what she saw…

In the blink of an eye, everything that Bonnie knew about life changed.

Five years have passed. And now, beyond hope, she has another chance to take that outstretched hand. But why is Todd back? What is so special about her? And most important of all…what is so special about him?

I haven't seen any reviews anywhere online for Cat's Eye (http://www.king-cart.com/Phaze/product=Cat%27s+Eye/exact_match=exact). If anyone here bought it and read it I would love to hear your reaction.

Have you asked us to review it? here is the link for the submission guidelines and the request link is near the end.

I'm not sure if Crystal sends to CTR on a regular basis or if that other review was sourced through the author. I need to check with her so I make sure I am not duplicating things...

Well, I didn't get this accomplished soon enough and now you are shutting down for the holidays...as am I in a way. I've got a "day job" in retail security now, and that makes for long days this time of year... We'll see what's happening come Jan.

Thanks IW. 2009 has been an interesting year, in both good ways and bad. I'm hopeful that 2010 will be similar, but less balanced in favor of one of those two directions, ya know?

And it sure would be nice to get a story longer than 15K finished and published. Short works are fun... but I need to get a couple of these novels finished...
