Book Brew with the Coffee Crew
Book Brew for May is later than usual! We normally find the first Monday around the 2nd or 3rd day but this time it is the 7th! That's as late as it gets. We have a treat for all you historical fans this time. A lot of us cut 'reading teeth' on the likes of Georgettte Heyer and Barbara Cartland or maybe the historical novels of the past (and most of them really were romances!) by authors such as Thomas Costain, Frank Yerby and Anya Seton! I know I did--giving away some age here LOL. So for May we are featuring a stellar cast of authors with historicals, both the older 'sweeter' kind and the new ones that are as hot as a June day in Arizona. We will be emphasizing the more traditional settings with historical romance books set in Europe, especially the British Isles from Medievals thru Regency/Georgian settings but a few surprises will be scattered thru the day as well. Come and read great excerpts, ask questions or comment on your faves and enjoy a good time with us! See you at 12:00 noon EDT on the Coffee Thoughts Blog!
