Hi Laurie, I left a message on the workshop forum but being so new I'm still moderated so it hasn't come through. I really want to thank you very much for the 'deep point of view' lesson and for giving me that valuable advice at the last minute. Even though my first novel will be released soon I know something is lacking in it and I'd hoped the editor would point it out. I was prepared to work hard. But she kept saying that I didn't realise how good a writer I was and that all I had to do was reduce the word count so that it would attract more sales.
I'm sorry i didn't join at the beginning of August. The authors who have you as an editor are blessed. Maybe for my next book, I'll try to inject Romance just so I can submit a fantasy romance to Black Velvet Seductions. In the meantime I'll try to develop the habit of thinking in the 4 aspects of the character's pov. This is something I would never have dreamed of 3 or 4 days ago. So again, a hearty thankyou. Rusty.
