		<description>Dialogue Boot Camp - October 24 - 28
The art of making fake people sound real. Dialogue – make it active, give it punch, and let it work for you in the development of your characters.
As much as your character is defined by his or her actions – their intentions, desires, and goals are best expressed to other characters and readers through dialogue. The structure of dialogue is important to character development in that the way that a person uses words, the ebb and flow of the language they use – it is the best and first in your face introduction to who they are. A person’s speech betrays them and reveals them in more ways than most even realize. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to use sentence structure and word choice to make your characters sound unique in your narrative.
