My debut novel, Turning the Tide, is published by Choc Lit, ‘where heroes are like chocolate – irresistible!’  Winning a tin of chocolate in a national essay competition at primary school inspired me to become a writer, so being published by Choc Lit is something of a dream come true!  Setting off, with my husband, from the east coast in a vintage wooden boat to sail halfway round Britain provided the initial inspiration for Turning the Tide.  The sleepy backwaters, quiet anchorages and picturesque harbours, not to mention the characters we met along the way, gave me plenty more to write about!
