Welcome to my corner of the coffee shop. I like my coffee with a dash of cream and shot of Irish Whiskey…Tullemore Dew is my favorite…when I can’t have Irish Coffee, I prefer Earl Grey tea. I write Irish Westerns, Medievals…and more. I published my first book, THE MARSHAL’S DESTINY (bk 1 in my Irish Western Series) with Avalon Books in 2001 and my tenth book, TYLER, released from Sourcebooks on March 1st. Both are Irish Westerns (I like to take my Irishmen out west and get them into trouble). About me…as a romance author, I've finally found a way to keep the voices from driving me insane...I put them in my stories. Now when the people in my head argue and wake me up, I'm not worried because I know they are characters from my current works-in-progress...and if not, they soon will be! I like to use family names in all of my stories. The castle on my home page is the ancestral home of my Purcell relatives in Tipperary, Ireland. All of my heroes have some of my husband’s best qualities: his honesty, his shoulders, integrity, his compassion for those in need, and his killer broad shoulders. I’m a sucker for a man with broad shoulders.
