Hi! I am Wendy Laharnar, an Australian married to a Slovenian. Now that our two children have left the nest and created families of their own, we live by the sea with our mini Schnauzer and enjoy long walks on the beach in winter and summer. My husband is a great cook, for which I am grateful as this leaves me free to write. Apart from writing and reading, I love to travel, especially to Europe where I find the medieval and renaissance history not available ‘down under’. I have been writing and studying writing most of my adult life and have a Diploma of Professional Writing and a BA with majors in English Literature and Classical Literature. MuseItUp Publishing released my first novel, The Unhewn Stone, in August 2011. Considered YA Historical fiction, although I wrote it for adults, the love interests are quite innocent, but as in real coming of age situations, they are both painful and tender. On the other hand, being a modern Swiss youth trapped inside the Wilhelm Tell legend (1307AD) is exciting, fast paced and often brutal. Alchemy, religion, myth and magic underpin this hero's journey, which begins and ends in Switzerland at Christmas. If you’d like to visit my website My Imagination there is with a widget of the stunning Swiss setting and the book trailer video. Website | Blog
