Forum: AZKatz Publishing

AZKatz Publishing LLC, is fairly new to the publishing field and is offering those who like to read or write action packed suspense sprinkled with romance and international intrigue, a place to call home. One author on the site, Jay Brenner, had the first book in her trilogy featured in Borders top five picks one month – right before Borders became KOBO  (the first book in this trilogy is currently with Evolutionary Publishing). Outside of giving new authors a place to call home, editing and proof reading has been a widely used service.  Don’t have time to read and enjoy a full novel? Try the short stories offered in the anthology A.W.O.L. These short stories will make you laugh, cry and sometimes think OH NO! Plans to expand and offer poetry is currently in the works. Thinking about plastic surgery? Try Anatomy of the Pact, to sway one you way or another whether this would truly be a right choice for you. The story is based on a true life experience with those things no one ever tells you about such procedures.

Brenda Cockrum, a proud American, is the owner of AZKatz Publishing, who  has experienced many moves over the years, and long ago discovered she was a ‘desert rat’. Although born in West Virginia, she often says she left her heart in Pennsylvania, where she claims the best folks in the world live. Later in life, she concluded if she had a choice of dying from a heat stroke, or shoveling snow, heat had to be the choice. This was behind her motivation to move to the Sonoran desert of Arizona.

Thanks to degrees acquired in computer sciences, she was able to work various information technology jobs. With the exception of a two-year stint in Iraq, and a short run at Holloman Air Force Base, most of her information technology career was spent at Fort Huachuca, in Arizona. She loves the high desert and enjoys hiking whenever the opportunity arises. After almost three decades of trekking to various southeastern Arizona ghost towns, she accumulated many photographs, and notes how quickly these towns are succumbing to the elements. Someday she intends to assemble her research along with the photos she’s taken of the towns and produce her Southeastern Arizona Ghost Town book. After living a few decades in Arizona, she and her husband moved to New Mexico with a wonderful view of White Sands Monument – one of many American wonders. Feel free to visit AZKatz Publishing at:
