  3. My name is Nancy Adams. I am a full-blooded Canadian, right down to the maple syrup running through my veins. I enjoy watching hockey and eating Poutine, usually at the same time. I have no problem driving for 6 hours for a weekend trip and I will throw in the occasional French swear word into a conversation. I have a three small addictions, bed lines, lavender, and books. All of which, is replenished on a regular basis. Reading into the wee hours of the morning, is one of many bad habits, next to spontaneously rearranging furniture and randomly painting rooms in my house.

Writing is a new passion for me, which began with ‘Hobby’ writing courses dating back to 2008. I don’t show favoritism against any genre, and when writing I just go with the flow and write what I want to write. Although, you will find that my books are a combination of many different genres and all have a hefty dose of erotic romance and usually a laugh thrown in for good measure.

I have two books published with erotic romance publisher Total-E-Bound, No Matter When is a Historical/Futuristic/Time Travel romance, and The Soul Within is a Contemporary/Paranormal romance. My next book The Bannockburn Spell is due for released with TEB in Nov/Dec this year.

I am currently working on a Paranormal/Shaper-Shifters Romance set on the coast of Vancouver Island, British Colombia.

  4. Welcome to my corner of the coffee shop. I like my coffee with a dash of cream and shot of Irish Whiskey…Tullemore Dew is my favorite…when I can’t have Irish Coffee, I prefer Earl Grey tea. I write Irish Westerns, Medievals…and more. I published my first book, THE MARSHAL’S DESTINY (bk 1 in my Irish Western Series) with Avalon Books in 2001 and my tenth book, TYLER, released from Sourcebooks on March 1st. Both are Irish Westerns (I like to take my Irishmen out west and get them into trouble). I have a Medieval Trilogy with DCL Publications, the third book in the trilogy will be going into print this year. For my full book list, check out my website

About me…as a romance author, I've finally found a way to keep the voices from driving me insane...I put them in my stories. Now when the people in my head argue and wake me up, I'm not worried because I know they are characters from my current works-in-progress...and if not, they soon will be! I like to use family names in all of my stories. The castle on my home page is the ancestral home of my Purcell relatives in Tipperary, Ireland. All of my heroes have some of my husband’s best qualities: his honesty, his shoulders, integrity, his compassion for those in need, and his killer broad shoulders. I’m a sucker for a man with broad shoulders.

  6. Having written as Amy Gallow for over ten years, a reasonable question is why I would choose to change, especially as I will continue to write romance under her name (with at least one book contracted and another in preparation)? The answer is that I want to go places where Amy’s friends might feel uncomfortable, even though a strong romantic thread runs through all my stories. Places like the mind of a veteran of WWI, the French Foreign Legion, WWII and Korea, or that of the longest serving Chinese detective in the Victoria Police on the eve of the execution of a Chinese miner convicted largely on his investigation and information gained while he and the miner shared a pipe of opium in July 1875, and that of a British Naval officer convicted of sodomy in 1815, but hung because he knew too many things embarrassing to those in power at the time. They are works in progress and one is already contracted to Eternal Press, another is in the submission process and I am deep in research for the third. There are others in the pipeline, waiting their turn. All a little different from anything Amy might write, even though she has my gratitude for giving me the services of editors, publishers and reviewers as I learnt my craft. Website |

  7. Do you need to turn up the heat? Not anymore when you read these paranormal romances! Tales of psychics who use their unique skills to save the day, whether deep in the jungle, or running through the city. It’s a race against the clock where you don’t know until the last minute if they'll be able to save the day. Franny Armstrong became a professional writer after suffering a severe breakdown. Part of her healing process was to write. Now she writes full time and loves every minute of it, sinking herself into the character’s lives. What’s the best part of writing in her viewpoint? She can take them anywhere in the world and pit them against all odds. A sucker for a happily ever after, Franny gives the heroes and heroines a run for their money. Check out Breathless Publishing or go to her site, and you’ll find what you’re looking for. Enjoy...

  8.  I started writing when I was about twelve. I'd just read one of Elaine Mitchell's brumby books (not the silver brumby series, one of the others) and I hated the ending. So I did what seemed the most natural thing to do--I rewrote it <g>. I haven't stopped writing since--though I have to admit, it's only in the last fifteen years that I've seriously thought about getting published. To date, I've completed a total of seventeen novels, (not counting the rewrite of Elaine Mitchell's!) although the first three will probably never see the light of day. I thought they were brilliant at the time, but looking at them now, I can only shudder. I still think the ideas are great, but basically, all three books would need to be entirely rewritten. Maybe I'll get back to them one day, when I have the time and nothing else to write. I'm a member of RWAustralia, the Princess Lulu Regrets crit group (don't ask about the name, because it's just unexplainable <g>), the Sock Monkeys, and the Monkeylint support group.  Learn more at my web site!

  9. A Caribbean transplant, Avril now lives in Brooklyn, N.Y with a tolerant Spousal Equivalent. Together they raise an eccentric daughter who loves reading and school (not so much school anymore). Avril’s earliest memories of reading revolve around discussing plot points of The Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys with an equally book-minded mother

Always in love with the written word, Avril finally decided to do the writing in August of ’09 and never looked back. Spicy love scenes, delicious heroes, and wicked women burn up the pages of Avril’s stories, but there’ll always be a happy ending; Av remains a believer of love in all its forms.

  11. Natalie Nicole-Bates may be new to the world of publishing, but she's always been a fan of books and is an active book reviewer. Now she gets to see what's its like on the other side of the book fence when her paranormal romance, Antique Charming, is released through Books To Go Now Publishing this fall and her contemporary romance, Change of Address, will be published in January 2012 by Secret Cravings. In addition to her love of books Natalie also has an uncharacteristic love of hockey which can be attributed to the fact she was born in Russia. Natalie now resides in the UK with a collection of Victorian and Edwardian era photography- her favorites being the post-mortem photographs.

  14. Welcome to the Angeline Bishop area of the coffeehouse, where the men are handsome and the women are sassy. My African-American contemporary romances have lively characters and happy endings. I’ve saved a seat for you at our best table, so grab a cappuccino and a slice of cheesecake and share your thoughts on North Star- Book one in the Sheridan series. In NORTH STAR, Caresse Aldana is chosen to persuade Psyche's dangerously handsome editor-in-chief, Graham Sheridan, to feature an article on Mason Community Center, she tells herself it's just business but he's just the man to prove her wrong and make her his own. NORTH STAR takes inspirational themes of family bonds and community involvement and gives readers a passionate romance. 16. What do World of Warcraft, Spongebob, cooking, writing, and an unnatural addiction to Mountain Dew all have in common? Not a damn thing, which is what makes Mychael Black an interesting bird indeed. Born in north Alabama, Mychael now resides in north Mississippi. Having run the gamut of labels in regard to gender and sexuality, Mychael now shuns society’s views on normality and embraces a poly-everything attitude. Call Mychael her or him—it doesn’t matter. Just keep reading the books.

  18. I've been writing many, many years, but didn't get published until 2003.  I love books that ground you in a familiar world, but still offer elements of the paranormal (vampires, wizards, shape-shifters cursed dukes, etc.).  My heroes all tend to be Alpha males who strongly believe they need to protect the women who enter their lives.  Though they may admire the heroine's courage and even understand her need to be strong and independent, they always think they know what is best for her.  More often than not, they are wrong, and it is up to the heroine to help them recognize their mistake and slowly change their attitudes.  In the end, the hero will usually be willing to compromise, to an extent, and may even admit he is overly protective, but he can never really change his attitude since his need to protect is so deeply engrained in him.  The heroine comes to understand her hero's faults, and even grows to love him more for having them.  She learns the best way to get around her domineering partner is simply to love him and offer her love back freely in return. 19. “Best selling novelist, Margaret Blake likes nothing more than swopping genres. Writing contemporary romance and historical romantic suspense has proved successful for Margaret. She has been the best selling author of the month at Whiskey Creek Press on two occasions and is always in their top ten. Recently she has been writing romantic suspense for a hardback publisher – Robert Hale Limited – and has had super reviews. A visit to her website at www.margaretblake.co.uk is well worth while.  Margaret has been married over thirty years. She has one son and three gorgeous grandchildren who, with their beautiful Mom, live in Florida. It is great to be able to visit them but would be better if they were closer.  Margaret likes nothing better than curling up with a good book, unless of course she is writing one!

  22. I’m a YA lit addict and I cannot lie. I think that some of the best fiction today is young adult. Though I’ve traditionally written horror novels, my latest book is about gender identity. The title is Cevin’s Deadly Sin. It’s the story of a hetero, teen cross-dresser: his struggles with first love, self-identity and bullying during his senior year in a small, Florida town. Cevin thinks that moving to Tilapia, Florida town is the worst thing that ever happened to him…until he falls for Tessa. She may be the one person who can accept his cross-dressing, but her brother Hunt’s goal is to make Cevin’s life a living hell. When Hunt “outs” him at school, Cevin has to figure out how to come to terms with his own identity in order to keep Tessa and quite possibly save his own life. Stop by and have a latté with me, and we can chat about YA.

Bobbi writes about alpha males and alpha females. There are no delicate flowers in her collection of characters. The villains are the worst sorts of rogues/roguettes. (I made that word up)

  28. Hi! I'm a freelance writer from New York City. I write in several genres, but publish erotica as Gianna Bruno. Sorry to be so mysterious, but in order to indulge my wildest fantasies, I have to work incognito. My erotic short story "Hot Chocolate Kiss" was published by Eternal Press in January 2010.I was thrilled to receive five star reviews on Amazon, with readers enjoying the magical realism and down to earth nature of the characters. Seriously Reviewed said my writing was "quirky," which is true, and the trailer was one of the six selected for their April "You Gotta Read" contest. My erotic paranormal fantasy The Journey was published by Eternal Press in December 2010. Now I'm working on a sexy seasons series for the spring summer and fall  adventures of Rick and Keela from Hot Chocolate Kiss. I've even come back to reality with my contemporary erotic collection At Home With Peter and Sandra, about a couple in the suburbs of everywhere trying to reinvent their relationship. It's five flames and I'm having a great time writing it. Join me at my Coffee Corner table for the latest news. Website | Blog | Twitter

  38. Maya DeLeina was born and raised on the beautiful and romantic beaches of Oahu, Hawaii. Relocating to Colorado, Maya's crystal blue oceans and powdery white sands were traded for enchanting forests, mystic mountains and golden plains of promise. Living just on the outskirts of Manitou Springs, the town's history of spiritual healing, eclectic flare, fabled underground tunnels and rumored lore of wizardry and witchcraft rekindled Maya's love for the paranormal, metaphysical and most of all, vampires. One bite and she was hooked. With a hint of incense lofting in the air and the majestic Pikes Peak sitting in picture perfect view from her windows, Maya can be found relaxing in the recesses of her comfy couch, sinking her teeth into crafting and weaving seducing and erotic tales of vampires that may or may not roam her beloved town. 41. Keta Diablo writes erotic romance and gay fiction for multiple publishers; Ravenous Romance, Noble Romance, Phaze Publishing and Dark Roast Press. She lives in the Midwest, a very cold part of the country in the winter, but breathtakingly beautiful in the summer. Residing on six acres of beautiful woodland, she communes with owls, eagles and loons (the winged version) and often writes while overlooking an environmental lake on her property. The lake is named after a famous Native American Chief and the locals claim burial grounds exist in her woods. Perhaps it’s not always the wind she hears howling at night! I love to hear from readers so please friend me on Coffee Time (one of my fave haunts on the Net). You can also find me all over the Internet, so just Google my name. 45. I love writing stories in which magick, werewolves, shifters, witches, sorcerers, angels, ghosts, and any other supernatural phenomenon, collide with our modern day world, resulting in suspense, mystery, sensual combustion, and unforgettable characters that will keep you coming back for more.

    S. Durham is a native Oregonian who currently lives in the Portland, Metropolitan Area with her husband, three children, an independent cat named Lucy, and (the newest addition)...Henry, a toy Maltese with boundless energy. Ocean beaches, mountain forests, and every other facet of the beautiful Pacific Northwest provide a rich mine of inspiration that feeds Ms.Durham’s fertile imagination. She has published three novels, and is currently polishing her forth novel for submission, and diving into her fifth full length novel.

  49. I'm a former middle school teacher who has embarked on a writing career. I write historical romance—Regency is my favorite—but I read all sub-genres. Come chat with me about books, writing, history, romance, or whatever is on your mind. Did I mention my mom made me a fabulous Regency ball gown? And a pelisse to wear with it? This romance writing gig is a whole lot of fun!

I live in Toledo, Ohio, but have recently begun spending the nasty winters in Florida with my folks. I have a sister with eleven children. I speak French and Spanish and have traveled widely. Just got back from a fabulous trip to Scotland…perhaps you'll want to ask if I saw Nessie while I was there? I drive a 2000 Ford Focus with 63,000 miles. I'm getting a new shed with blue vinyl siding (and a window!) in my backyard soon. What else can I say? Oh, I have another sister who is a cat-lady, and a brother who is an organic farmer. I'm sure there are plenty of other things we can talk about, but I'd better get back to work on my latest project. Ciao for now!

  50. Although I long ago left the farm for the glamour of the big town, I still draw a lot from my experiences growing up on a small  farm in West Central Pennsylvania to write my stories. I love stories with a real characters living real lives and try to write those same kind of stories.  I've been married for 20 years and have a teenage son and daughter who are as different as summer and winter. And we are all at the mercy of Penny, one very spoiled rescue cat who thinks she needs to eat breakfast at 1 AM and is scared of the dark. I would love to live in the places I write about and tell everyone I'm a cowgirl at heart stuck in Pennsylvania suburbia.  Because I love vampires almost as much as I do cowboys, I also have paranormal romantic suspense published under the pen name Cera duBois. 54. Born and raised in Manhattan, I have lived in the Boston area since just after the blizzard of 1978, thus missing the opportunity to abandon my car in a snowbank and walk home. I am the daughter of a painter and the mother of three grown sons. An avid science fiction fan, I selected Robert A. Heinlein's "Farmer in the Sky" for my tenth birthday, now long past. I live outside of Boston with my partner and a large number of dogs.

In spite of earning my living as a computer software engineer, I turned to one of my sons to put up the first version of my website, a clear illustration of the computer generation gap. An accomplished flute and piccolo player, I can also write backwards and wiggle my ears. Thanks to my father's relentless hounding, I can still recite the rules for pronoun agreement in both English and French. My articles, poems, and stories have appeared in anthologies and journals such as Melusine, Front Range Review, and All Rights Reserved. My 2010 NaNo novel, Relocated was published by MuseItUp Publishing in July, 2012. and the second Aleyne novel,  Broken Bonds in July, 2013. A third novel, Geek Games, came out in November, 2013.  I published the book of poems that goes with the Relocated through CreateSpace. My book, The Angry Little Boy will be published by 4RV publishing sometime this year.. I am one of six authors of the poetry anthology, "Lifelines."

I play the flute and the piccolo, but am quite rusty. I recently completed Pat Pattison's songwriting course. One of reasons I took it was because one of the characters in  "Broken Bonds"  is a musician -- she plays an  string instrument called a rill, which I imagine is something like an autoharp. I've written lyrics to songs she's supposed to be singing but not the music. I am presently working on finishing up a fourth Aleyne novel and have started work on a fantasy.

In her spare time, Amie enjoys gardening, photography, and old black and white movies where the hero always gets the heroine.

  57. Sydney-born Donna Gallagher decided at an early age that life needed be tackled head on. Leaving home at 15 she supported herself through her teen years. In her twenties she married a professional sportsman, her love of sport -- especially rugby league -- probably overriding her good sense.

The seven-year marriage was an adventure. There were the emotional ups and downs of having a husband with a public profile in a sometimes glamorous but always high-pressure field. There were always interesting characters to meet and observe and even the opportunity to live for a time in the UK.
Eventually Donna returned home a single woman, but she never lost her passion for watching sport, as well as the people in and around it.

Now happily re-married and with three sons Donna loves coffee mornings with her female friends, sorting through problems from the personal to the international. But she's on even footing with the keenest man when it comes to watching and talking rugby league.

Donna considers herself something of a black sheep in a family of high achievers. Her brother has a doctorate in mathematics and her sister is a well-known sports journalist.

An avid reader, especially of romance, Donna finally found she couldn't stop the characters residing in her imagination from spilling onto paper. Naturally rugby league is the backdrop to her League of Love Series, published through UK publisher Total-E-Bound, spicy tales of hunky heroes and spunky heroines overcoming adversity to eventually find true love.

  58. I began writing romance as a relaxation from a 24/7 career and found it an enjoyable escape, especially after winning first prize in two national competitions and a five book contract with an Australian publisher. Life beyond a professional career suddenly seemed possible, even when the publisher insisted I become Amy Gallow. Fourteen published stories later, Amy has written paranormal, historical and contemporary romance, plus magazine stories without me losing one iota of the zest that triggered the end of a professional career. A film rights contract for The Widow-Maker has grown into the shooting of a promotional trailer for the full length feature film and introduced me to both, the uncertainties of the Australian Film industry and a writer’s responsibilities to produce character breakdowns for casting of the actors. It is fascinating to see figments of imagination become living, breathing individuals—even if they look nothing like the mind pictures that drove their creation. It’s doing the rounds now, trying to drum up enough finance to shoot the whole film. I signed the contract for my fifteenth story at the end of May and it will be the first one under my own name, opening up a whole new chapter in my writing. Visit Amy's Website

  59. Hi.  Welcome to the Coffee Corner of award winning, best selling (USA Today Bestseller List among others) author Samantha Gentry.  Come on in, grab a cup, kick off your shoes, and relax.  We can talk about whatever you'd like.  My reading tastes are eclectic.  I enjoy all sorts of books, both fiction and non-fiction.  However, I have to admit that once I started writing I found myself reading more non-fiction than fiction because of my research into various subjects.  My writing is a little more focused—erotic romance (contemporary and suspense), contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and mystery.  As time permits, I'm trying something new by working on a couple of paranormal stories.  In addition to my ebook releases written as Samantha Gentry, I also have a backlist of 21 novels published with Harlequin Intrigue and Silhouette Desire under my other pseudonym.  You'll find the list on my website.   On Sunday mornings I post a new blog and have several contests each year on my website (usually something to do with movie trivia).  Stop by and leave a comment on my blog about the current weekly subject and don't forget to enter my website contest. 66. Hello. I’m Kate Hill and I love to read and write romance. If you’d like to know a little about me, my author bio is below. I love talking to other readers and writers, so please feel free to email me at any time or post questions and comments in this forum. Thank you! What do trips around the world, endless nights of breathtaking sex, and a muscular, 6-foot 3-inch, brown-haired, blue-eyed significant other have to do with Kate Hill? Absolutely nothing, but she can dream, can't she? In reality Kate is a single, thirty-something vegetarian New Englander who loves writing romantic fantasies. Currently, she might not be traveling around the world, but Kate has visited Europe and Africa and those beautiful places have been wonderful inspiration for her writing. While working at various times as a clerk, assistant karate instructor, house painter and banker, Kate dreamed of being an author. In 1996 her first short story was accepted for publication and since then she has sold over ninety short stories, novellas and novels. Kate's stories, The Chieftain's Bride and Vampire Master, have won The Romance Studio's CAPA and in 2002 her vampire novel, The Immaculate, was nominated for a Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award. When she's not working on her books, Kate enjoys reading, working out, and researching vampires and Viking history. You can visit her online here.

  67. Anne Hope is the author of emotionally intense romances with a twist—a twist of humor, a twist of suspense, a twist of magic.

As a child, Anne had the nasty habit of scaring her friends and little cousins with stories of witches and vampires. Eventually, she realized that at the heart of every dark tale a compelling romance waits to be told. Now, all her stories are about the redeeming power of love and the heart’s incredible ability to heal…with a scare or two thrown in for good measure.

Her paranormal romantic thriller Soul Bound, Book One in her Dark Souls series, received a Top Pick from RT and was selected as a 2012 RT Reviewers’ Choice Award nominee. She lives in Montreal, Canada, with her husband, her two kids, a well-fed cat and a rambunctious Australian Kelpie.

  70. Rhonda Jackson Joseph has always been an avid, equal opportunity reader. One of her early forays into writing was during junior high school when she produced numerous romance short stories in which she and her best girlfriends were the heroines. The stories were circulated and garnered quite a following. Thus, she found that romance writing came rather natural to her.

Her focus shifted toward horror writing when the elevated hormone levels in her body during pregnancy brought on terrifying nightmares during the scant hours she could find sleep. The dreams demanded to be placed on paper, and she hoped they would then be exorcised. To no avail, as they never completely disappeared. In fact, they multiplied.

  74. My novels are heavy in fantasy, heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again.  I’m not a planner.  I don’t write with a set idea because no matter what I plan, the characters’ voices always come through and demand I listen to them. So, I gave up trying to fight it! The journey as a writer all began when I was a teen and wrote poetry, which still to this day I pull out to have a good laugh.  Later on, I tried a couple of times to put a book together with no such luck.  Couldn’t ever get past the first few chapters.  But once I was exposed to the paranormal world, ideas came quickly. At first, it was a way to keep my brain alive since being a stay at home mom can be a little let’s say―numbing. It was an escape from screaming kids, dirty diapers and plain old mom duty.  It started as a hobby, but as the stories progressed it became a passion. Now, I indulge at nap time, especially the juicy bits! Every mom needs a good thrill! So here in Kitchener, Ontario, I am a thirty one year old wife, mom, house cleaner, cook, teacher, play-doh extraordinaire, swing pusher, toddler chaser after – who loves the outdoors, curling up with the latest flick, and if I’m not plugging away at a new novel, I’ve got my nose buried deep in a good book.  So there it is―my life! 76. I write 'dead romantic' fiction, ranging from paranormals to retro-- as an ex-ghost tour guide with her head stuck in the 80s/90s, I've got lots of material to work with. I've lived in five different countries, and moved far too many times to mention. I grew up in a small sea-side town on the coast of North Wales, and lived in a house that backs onto a graveyard (yes, I've got stories to share about that) Perhaps that is why I'm fascinated with all things dark and macabre.  Currently, I live in North Carolina And when I'm not writing, I can be found reading/watching anything vampire related or cooking up a British storm in my kitchen. I've left a clear trail so you can stalk me all over the web, start here: www.joannekenrick ! So, come on in... let's talk books, writing, vampires, ghosts and food! Clotted Cream scones are at the door, along with the PG Tips! :) [Website] [Facebook] [Twitter] Blogging: [The Para Posse] [The Pop Culture Divas]

  77. I'm a multi-published author of sensuous historical romance and erotic romance. I'm particularly fond of seductively wicked alpha heroes with a taste for spirited, intelligent heroines. My stories are sizzling romances that capture the rich array of emotions that accompany that most fabulous human phenomena – falling in love. When I'm not writing or researching my next story, I enjoy spending time with my own hero hiking, biking, reading romances and biographies, visiting wineries, or relaxing on the Outer Banks’ beautiful beaches. As you might guess, I'm a born romantic. I adore a sensuous, passionate love story of desire's transformation to love. Hope you'll check out my releases at my website. 78. I have always wanted to be a writer but didn't actually pursue that dream until a few years ago. My main goal is to put feelings into words. I want people to feel something when they read my books. I write paranormal, sci-fi, and fantasy romance. On a more personal note I enjoy hairy chests, fangs and walks in the moonlight. HA. 80. I write fast paced, fun, laugh out loud science fiction/romance and paranormal romances. Stressed out? Ready to kill someone? Sit down, get some chocolate and read one of my books. They're guaranteed to make you forget the world for a hour or two. Hey, it's easier than going to jail. My science fiction/romance books are Just My Luck and The Warlord's Comeuppance. The Nasty Vamp is a paranormal/romance. Bunny just found out her perfect Prince Charming is a vampire. I'm currently working on I Hear Voices. Our heroine uses her psychic abilities to search for Montezuma's lost treasure while trying to ditch an Indiana Jones wannabe hot on her trail. Website | Goodreads

  81. Anyone who talks to me long enough notices I'm a bit on the quirky side.

My husband says it’s because I’m a crazy writer, and I tend to agree with him. When I look at the world around me, I see people and places that take on fantastical attributes. A man walking across the street just isn't a man, he's a troll, on the hunt for the blue fairy. A women speeding down my street is being chased by steam punk elves, because she stole their aether converting mechanism.

Luckily, for me, my family loves and accepts my unique brand of crazy. They even encourage me to write down my silly notions. Although my son will tell you there is far too much kissing in my stories!

  83. Welcome! I write sexy, sensual and erotic contemporary romance. I didn’t start out to write erotic romance, but I had this idea….Well, the rest is history. I found I had a talent for writing steamy scenes – who knew?, and I’ve never looked back. If you like alpha heroes and heroines strong enough to take them on, then we’ll get along just fine. Grab a chair. I’ll pass the tea (you can have coffee if you want) and cookies and we’ll chat for a while about love, passion and romance, or anything else that suits our fancy. Chocolate chip, or Snickerdoodle? You choose.

  85. I've always had a soft spot for cowboys, horses, romance and the 'old west', but never gave much thought to penning my own stories until I came across the phenomenal Judith McNaught and Johanna Lindsey. Both women created memorable characters and storylines that inspired me to combine my passions and pursue a career in writing romance. To date, I have two western historicals published through Asylett Press, with a third one due out soon. I enjoy meeting fans of the western romance genre and talking about all things western and romance related. Stop by my forum to say hello and gab about cowboys and the grit of the 'old west'. 91. Hello, I’m Hywela Lyn, although I’ve always been called Lyn and am quite happy to answer to that – it’s easier to pronounce than ‘Hywela’! I lived most of my life in Wales, where I was born and raised, and Welsh myths and legends inspired much of my writing. My stories usually take place in that ‘other world’ of fantasy which might be in the far past or the far future but which relies on the heroes and heroine's courage and quick wits to survive the trials before them. From an early age I had two great loves – books and horses. Nothing has changed, only now I write the stories I love to read and have two real horses of my own, rather than the imaginary ones I had as a child. I love the idea of space travel and starships, but I also like the idea of a tranquil world with little technology and a simple lifestyle. By writing science fantasy I can have it both ways! Come join me for romance that’s ‘out of this world’. Visit my Web Site for more information about me, my books and my animals. There's also a Newsletter with member only contests. I'd also love you to take a look at my blog My Blog and I am in lots of other places on the web, including: Facebook | Twitter | MySpace I also have a Newsletter there with member only contests. Visit her online here. Kristy has been writing since she was very young, but it wasn’t until she was a stay-at-home mom that she considered becoming published. A fascination with science led her to earn two engineering degrees—she did her undergraduate work at Arizona State University and her graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh—but storytelling was always her favorite hobby. Born and raised in Arizona, and recently returned after a 20 year absence in Pittsburgh, she writes Old West romances to capture the landscapes that were such a big part of her childhood. 93. Petie McCarty writes for Desert Breeze Publishing and pens suspenseful contemporary romances with an environmental flavor. Her debut novel Everglades featured a wild airboat ride though the famed River of Grass with a hunky Seminole guide. Catch of the Day paired a spunky redhead with a sexy Special Ops Coast Guardcaptain in the zany all-male Loon Lake Tournament. Both books combine sensually-charged romance with action-adventures in exciting natural settings.

Petie's new Rescue Angel romances will debut with the release of No Going Back in April2013, followed by Angel to the Rescue in December 2013. These romances will each have an angel hidden in the plot, and the angel's identity will not be revealed until the story's finale. The possibilities are endless.

In No Going Back, Kellen Brand's inheritance turns out to be a whopper -- one dilapidated farm in West Virginia and one guardian angel.

  94. As a neighbor to Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara, Miss Mae suggests you carry a ready fan in hand. Not to cool the blush of your cheeks as you devour her romance books, but to swat at those Jurassic Park blood-sucking mosquitoes when you’re fool enough to sit under the limbs of those Spanish-moss draped live oak trees! Okay. Reality check. Maybe I used to live in the area of bygone southern plantation homes, but now I reside in northern Georgia where the Appalachian mountains stretch as far as the eye can see. In either locale, my laid-back country roots has shaped my way of thinking and instilled my Pure Southern Genteel style of writing. There are a lot of romance books in the world and some really terrific romance authors. But I choose to be somewhat different. I situate my romances with a good mystery. It’s the circumstances of the mysteries that throw my hero and heroine together. Once ensnared in the evil plot I plunge them into (wicked laugh), they can’t help but see that by story’s end that…well, shucks, they actually like each other!  Visit my website, blog, and MySpaces to learn more about me, my books, my characters, and the intricacies I force them to endure!" 95. Nana’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana, meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. Though, until that ninja job comes through, you’ll find her acting out scenes for hubby and puppy while catching up on her favorite reality television shows in sunny San Diego. (Shakespeare: Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 5) While I’ll never be in Shakespeare’s league, I have to agree with the bard—or the ghost, if you’ve read the play—there are more things in heaven and earth than I can dream about, but that won’t stop me from trying to write them down and share them with whoever wants to read them. Reviewers have described her stories as “so compelling, I did not want to put it down,” and “such romantic tales that really touch your soul.” When not spending time with her family, she can be found in her lair, concocting a magical brew of contemporary, historical, and fantasy/paranormal stories with her cat Chairman Maiow and dog Lily as company. She read all the Famous Five mysteries by Enid Blyton before graduating to Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Her favorite television viewing was Scooby Doo where she, in her invisible guise, helped Scooby solve the crime. As happens with children, Shelley grew up and boys distracted her from childhood dreams. 108. I think I’d be in the majority if I said I like to see the good guys or girls come out on top, when I read a book or see a movie. Very few of us want to see the bully, the cheater, or the manipulator win. That’s one reason I love to read about people of faith who find the strength to overcome obstacles and defeat the odds against them. Sure, villains make the story more interesting, but should they win -- naw, not in my book. Speaking of books, I wanted my first romance to be in a romantic setting with a bit of suspense with a handsome, strong hero who wins over a headstrong woman who said she’d never date again after her fiancé, a no-good louse, broke her heart. When I’m not writing or reading I like to swim, walk on the beach and visit with my friends and family. People watching can be fun too. Website | Blog

Her first novel, A Ranger's Tale was published in January, 2011 by Melange Books, and the second in the fantasy romance series, Serenya's Song, was published in April 2012. The highly anticipated third book, Hearts in Exile, has already received some great reviews. The Tallenmere series has been likened to Terry Goodkind's 'Sword of Truth' series, but is probably closer to a spicy cross between Tolkien and Mercedes Lackey. She resides in Buckner, KY with her husband, three children, three cats, one dog, three hermit crabs, and a huge aquarium full of mutt fish.

If you like ‘Sweet’ Edge of Your Seat Romantic Suspense/Mysteries you’ve come to the right place.  Don’t let the ‘Sweet’ fool you, my books are far from boring.  My heroines are strong-willed, often very opinionated, ladies who usually wind up in a big mess of trouble and need a handsome man to come along and bail them out—though they’d never admit to needing the help.  As suspense junkie, my ultimate goal in every story is to have the reader so engrossed they're up all night reading.  Visit my website

I focused primarily on epic fantasy works (under another pen name) until the idea for Storm popped in my head one day. She proved quite stubborn and I simply could not shake her (I think that comes out some in her debut) so Ryder on the Storm was born. I find this series to be a much needed hiatus from my fantasy series and truly enjoy each new development. Website | Amazon | Barnes & Noble |Facebook

  114. I was born and raised in the suburbs of D.C, and now reside in the south with (sometimes) Prince Charming and my overly large (and way too hyper) nutty family. I'm a Walking Dead, True Blood and Lost Girl nut. My fix is coffee and reading.

Little known facts: I've been on the Gordon Elliot Show and have owned ferrets, crawdads, rats, flying squirrels and a barnyard of other animals/critters. No, I did not get any of them. They came to me. Yes, including the crawdads. Did you know they do it missionary? I didn't either but have pictures to prove it.

Truthfully I write all over the board. When I sit to pen a tale, I never truly know what it will be or where it will go. I'm as much along for the ride as anyone else. I can promise there will be quirk, heat and a Happily Ever After.

I'm a member of RomCom Critters on Yahoo, RWA, RWA Chapter Group #213 member and Treasurer 2010, President 2011, Education Chair 2013.

If I'm not here, you can find me around the web.

  116. Endless Passion, Timeless Romance.  Amy discovered her love of the written word when she realized that she could no longer act out the fantastical romances in her head with her dolls. Writing about delicious heroes was much more fun than playing with plastic men dolls with the inevitable flesh-colored tighty-whities. She loves history, the paranormal, science fiction, urban fantasy and will spew out historical facts like a volcano, much to her dearest hubby's chagrin. When she's not thinking about the next sensual romp, she's chasing after three rug rats and reading anything spicy she can get her hands on.  I love to hear from readers. Leave a message, a thought, recipe whatever! You can find out more about me and my upcoming books on my website. Website | Twitter

Author of erotic romantic fiction and cover artist for Black Velvet Seductions.  I have worked with BVS for some time and I enjoy the way things work there; there is very much a family feel.  My writing is a bit on the steamy side but it is the emotional content that drives my characters.   My aim is to get a deep point of view with my characters, let the readers really get inside the story and hopefully empathise with the people involved.  I always value feedback from readers and other authors and I am always happy to chat and share thoughts on writing and art.  Visit my website

She began reading romance and romantic suspense during college when reading anything but a textbook was a guilty pleasure. Now, when she’s not reading, camping, or wishing she had a maid, she’s spinning webs of fantasy and penning tales of seductive suspense. She currently lives in the high desert of Southern California with her husband and three active children (who think she is the maid).   WebSite

Newflash!  Paisley has a split-personality!  *Gasp!*  It's true.  Paisley Scott is the author of sizzling erotic romances whose stories are verrrrra sexy and graphic.  Her alter-ego is Leslie Ann Dennis, author of spicy contemporary romances.  They happily coexist to write about characters most of us can identify with.  Humor is a strong element in their books (although not when the hero and heroine are in bed -- LOL!  At least they hope no one laughs at those parts!  *giggle*).  They live in the south where they share one wonderful hubby (*snicker*) and three silly dogs. 123. Hi Readers! Welcome to my Author’s Corner at Coffee Time Romance!  I’ve been writing romances for over twenty years. During that time, I’ve written and had published 13 historical romance novels.  My stories have been set on ships during Viking times, ranches in the Old West, forts during Fur Trade times, villages in Indian territory, and in caves during prehistoric times. I am very happy to announce that I’ve placed several of my historical romances (previously print published) with two highly respected epublishers: The Wild Rose Press and Red Rose Publishing  Please watch this space for announcements of when my ebooks will be released at various times over the next year or so. Lately, I’ve turned my hand to writing contemporary women’s stories and hope to release some of those stories soon as well.  My foray into writing contemporaries has been surprising to say the least. Surprising because I didn’t realize how quickly things can change in a story. For example, I’d give a character a flip open cell phone and a year or two later I’d have to update it in the story just to keep up with our society’s changes in technology. Compare that to, say, Vikings who for centuries could only shout in the wind on the deck of a tossing ship to communicate with one another. Much simpler times!  J Because the book world is changing so quickly, I’m making changes as to how I connect with my readers. I am anticipating that Coffee Time Romance will be an important website for my blogging and for staying in touch with my readers.  I also have a FB page, as well as a MySpace page. Besides Coffee Time Romance, the other best way to get hold of me is to contact me via Theresa Scott's Website Let the reading begin!

  124. Janice Seagraves grew up with a deep love of science fiction and adventure stories. Always the consummate artist, she traded in her paint brush for a laptop to write breathless life-affirming novels that celebrate enduring love.

She lives in a hundred year old haunted house (not kidding) with her husband of many years and their grown daughter. When not writing, you can find her in the yard either gardening or snapping a photo or two.

  125. Otherworldly Tales. That's probably the best way to describe the stories I love to write. My muse doesn't like genre restrictions, but I mainly write urban fantasy, paranormal, and Sci-Fi tales with a dark edge. I also don't shy away from horror stories, because I love zombies.  I live in Sydney, Australia with my husband, daughter, and cat. I spend every available moment I have writing. And when I'm not writing, I'm usually thinking about it. Although, I do love to go for walks, enjoy watching good movies, and TV shows. I'm also a huge reader and love collecting books.  Oh, and I love to chat, so feel free to drop in any time! Website | Blog

  126. Hi!  My name is Lauren Sharman, and I'm proud to say that I was voted the #1 BEST ROMANCE AUTHOR in the 2006 Annual Preditors & Editors Reader's Poll!   At home in Maryland, I've been creating characters and writing short stories since I was a little girl, but it was my love of reading—and a gentle push from my husband—that finally inspired me to write novels.   To date, all my books have been on the BESTSELLER list at Whiskey Creek Press!  I love chatting with readers, answering their questions, and discussing their opinions on not only my books, but on life in general, as well. I'm an active member of the Romance Writers of America, the Maryland Romance Writers, and an RWA PRO.  For more information on me, my award winning books, and upcoming releases, please visit my web site, www.LaurenSharman.com or my MySpace page: www.myspace.com/laurensharman

  129. Life is truly like a box of chocolates and sometimes filled with nuts. Forest Gump is my idol.   Welcome to my table in the Coffee Corner.  I've been writing for ten years now, and I have a large array of books available and more coming out this year.  Yep, I'm a genre hopper.  Recently blogged about the topic and found out I'm not alone. My books are all character driven, so like the readers, I never know the ending until I get there.  When I stop having voices in my head, then I'll worry.  I hope to attract some new friends, fans, and readers here, and also invite you to visit my website, where all my beautiful covers and several of my trailers are featured.  Also, my blog, Dishin' It Out, has been well received and a popular gathering place for my fellow authors to promote their work.  I believe we're all a team.  If you'd like to contact me personally, please feel free to email me

  135. Although I’ve lately been enthralled by creating paranormal fiction with varying levels of sensuality, my work as a whole spans a wide range of genres. It's currently and/or soon to be published by Ellora's Cave, Cerridwen Press, Samhain Publishing, Double Dragon Publishing, and MojoCastle Press. Some day, when I allow myself to take the time and make the effort, I'd like to secure an agent and break into the wild 'n' woolly world of "da big dogz" in New York. Right now, though, I'm just too focused on my writing. Please come isit me at MySpace!

  136. Welcome to my little corner of cyberspace. Creating characters and developing stories is something that I love to do. It brings me joy. Sharing those stories, knowing that my characters are capturing the imagination of others? Well, that's even a greater thrill. I was first published in 2005 and in 2007 was able to leave what I used to call my “real life” job to pursue writing and working in the publishing industry full-time. The years that I spent working in the psychiatric field definitely influences my writing, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to my characters and their stories. I currently live in Southern California with my husband of seventeen years, my fourteen-year-old son, and my cocker spaniel, Buck. My husband is a social worker who works with abused children. He’s an avid sailor who loves to surf, and you’ll find bits of him in every hero that I’ve ever written. My son is wonderfully sensitive, with a sarcastic sense of humor. He plays piano, composes his own music, is a competitive fencer, and worships video games. I’ve written in a variety of romance sub-genres including romantic suspense, contemporary, historical, and paranormal. For the past two years I’ve been immersed in the writing of my Forbidden urban fantasy series, which USA Today Best Selling Author Kelley Armstrong says is, "A steamy romance with the perfect mix of drama and humor." The series offers what I think of as a fresh new twist on the classic vampire tale of seduction. It has a heroine that you’ll envy and a hero that you’ll find yourself wanting to spend eternity with. Have I tempted you yet? Good. As my hero Byron Renfield would say, “Sometimes, temptation can be a good thing.” Come step inside my imagination… Samantha's Web Site

Seems like I’ve been writing since forever.  I penned my first book at the age of 10.  It was an “epic fantasy” and included all the kids in the neighborhood as knights and ladies fair.  Since that time, I haven’t stopped and I’m excited to be able to share my worlds and casts of characters with you. She’s been a writer for most of her varied and adventurous life, and she’s also published under the pseudonym, A.L. Debran. Kaye has followed the rodeo circuit, raced thoroughbred horses, herded cattle across the prairie, broken horses to ride, worked as a school psychologist, teacher, and school administrator. Experience the romance and elegance of Regency and Gerorgian England with books by Hazel Statham.  In my books you will experience humor pathos and sometimes danger but always there is love.  In my world of historical romanceI love to create characters my readers can truly care about.  I started writing at the age of 15 (many many moons ago).  I don't know what made me start to write only that it was a compulsion I couldn't ignore and that compulsion remains with me today.  I hope you enjoy reading my books about these fascinating eras as much as I enjoy writing about them. 144. The idea of magical abilities had always fascinated me, starting with King Arthur and Merlin. Eight books in my Druid series deal with the fairly modern people who have inherited Druid powers, and how they use their powers to help the good guy (or gal) and defeat the villain. Have started a new series about Mages, hoping to title it the Magical Mages. Few know what a mage is, so I start the first book, Damien's Destiny, with an explanation of the word. Merlin was a mage. and the sexy cover  and excerpt for Damien's Destiny is on my website.  The lure of magic is still strong. Love to answer questions or just chat about Druids and Mages. My debut novel, Turning the Tide, is published by Choc Lit, ‘where heroes are like chocolate – irresistible!’  Winning a tin of chocolate in a national essay competition at primary school inspired me to become a writer, so being published by Choc Lit is something of a dream come true!  Setting off, with my husband, from the east coast in a vintage wooden boat to sail halfway round Britain provided the initial inspiration for Turning the Tide.  The sleepy backwaters, quiet anchorages and picturesque harbours, not to mention the characters we met along the way, gave me plenty more to write about! 158. I love writing romantic suspense because it throws the hunky hero and intrepid heroine together under extraordinary circumstances and pits them against a clever villain. Although some of my books are set in the state of Maine, where I live, I write about more exotic settings as well, such as a sultry Caribbean island and romantic Italy. Reviewers have called my stories fast-paced, thrilling, action-packed, sizzling, and highly emotional. My books have received the Golden Leaf and Laurie awards and finaled in the Bookseller's Best and the Daphne. My most recent book, Deadly Memories, was a 2006 Romantic Times Magazine Top Pick and Reviewer's Choice Award nominee. I live with my husband on the coast of Maine. A former teacher, I enjoy curling up with a good book, gardening, walking the dog, sailing (if the day is sunny and the wind light), and hiking (if the trail is moderate). Look for my next release, Primal Obsession, due out in late 2008. Please visit my website to read excerpts and enter my contest. I love to "chat" with readers and fellow writers. Let's get acquainted. I love to talk about writing and books, romance and romantic suspense.

  159. When you need a little paranormal in your romance. Welcome to my forum! Grab a latte and come chat a while.  I write paranormal romantic suspense. There’s nothing I enjoy more then a good book filled witches, psychics, werewolves, or vampires facing a life or death situation. However, I also enjoy a good male/male erotic romance and I’m currently working on a m/m vampire story.  If you enjoy these books too come on in and get comfortable. For more info visit my website.

  160. If you like accurate historical romances without compromising steamy intimate scenes between vivid and addicting characters, then you've come to the right place. Renee Vincent is a highly energetic author, whose traits are naturally transformed into her writing of face-paced, action-filled, plot-twisting epics in the tumultuous time period of 10th Century. Her passions include Norse and Irish history, horses, and irresistible, brawny warrior heroes. RÆLIKSEN, her first historical romance that debuted in Dec. 2008, is jam packed with those and more. The sequel, MAC LIAM, due to release in 2010, will not disappoints either, as a love triangle - initially mentioned in RÆLIKSEN - will unfold and completely tantalize. Come with me to a different place and time... Website | Past The Print Blog

  167. Greetings from the Heart of Texas where I live with my journalist husband and two dogs—Jolie Blon, a spoiled Cajun poodle; and Mardi Gras, a retired pet therapy dog. Here in Texas, lots of things really are larger than life, including some of my characters, but what better setting for romantic comedy? We may be big, but we also know how to laugh at ourselves. My first published novel Dog Nanny—a 2008 Linda Howard Award of Excellence finalist—is set for release in June from The Wild Rose Press. Can a vet tech train two wayward poodles, while harnessing her desire for a handsome pilot? I hope you’ll read it to find out! To read an excerpt or for more information and the latest news on contests, blogs, and more, check out my Web site. And while you’re there, I’d love to hear from you.

  168. Born and raised in Arizona, my travels had been limited to California, Nevada, and New Mexico until I married a man doing a stint in the Army. If the Army offered nothing else, we at least had the opportunity to see a good part of the world. And we found we liked moving around. Our gypsy hearts have kept us on the move in civilian life but we think we've settled down at last on the prairie in northern Arizona. When I'm not at my laptop, I enjoy hiking, motorcycling, fishing, live theater, and baseball. I’ve been writing most of my life, but didn’t take myself seriously as a writer. I was convinced I was meant to be an artist. Sometime after college, I found more satisfaction filling a blank page with words than an empty canvas with color. I left my paints behind. I love connecting with readers so feel free to contact me: brenda@brendawhiteside.com

  169. When she was little, Anita Whiting would spend hours reading. It didn’t matter whether it was in the bathtub, in a car or huddled under the covers with a nightlight after her mother thought she was in bed. By the time she was in the sixth grade, she was trying her hand at poetry and short stories some of which were published in the school newspapers. However, it was only after raising three children and working as an obstetrical nurse for years that she finally tried her hand at a full length novel. It went so well that she wrote another and another. Nothing pleases her more than reading a good book and she hopes you feel the same about hers. If you would like to learn more about Anita M Whiting and her work, visit her website at anitawhiting.tripod.com or send an email to timwhit@netlink.net

  170. I am a Nigerian author and blogger and will be sharing my romantic poems and stories of love set in Nigeria with coffeetime romance. I have self-published two novels, contemporary, and multicultural romances that confirm that love stories cut across race and geography, and showcase local characters in a loving relationship, something that is almost never seen in African books. My newly released novel, A LOVE REKINDLED, is set in the United States and Nigeria, and is a story that entertains, is emotionally engaging, and provides a window into Nigerian culture, places and people. This book was selected into the second round of the Amazon/Penguin Breakthrough Novel Awards 2011. I also plans to write more books and would make ALR the first of a series, which is always popular. My first novel, A Heart to Mend, was very well received, and has garnered a substantial following on blogger, Facebook and Twitter. It was also subsequently published in 2010, to good reviews, in Nigeria. Visit my website

  174. Science Fiction Erotic Romance author and creator of the P.I.A.C.T Undercover agent series -- S.J's future worlds and societies are so real you'll forget, while reading, that interstellar space travel doesn't exist. S.J.'s character driven universe is as tough and variable as the people who inhabit it, characters who live and love as hard as the cold vacuum of the space which houses them. The depth of descriptive detail and personality within the P.I.A.C.T. series has reviewers describing the novels as "emotionally intense and romantic" and to hail them as a "definite keeper." Searing novels that are "so sensual that your partner should be within reach," and so realistic they'd "have given Gene Roddenberry a run for his money." If you like your romance to be an unforgettable adventure, full of new and strange worlds, then come along and see what P.I.A.C.T is all about. If you need your heroes and heroines to be gritty, real life people who deal with life's disasters and love so deeply they are willing to die for it, then S.J's novels should be more than enough to satisfy your desires -- completely. 175. A writer of fantasy, I’ve written several novels.  I enjoy the magical side of life and love what it can add to romance.  Though my life began in Tampa, Florida, I've lived all over the United States and even spent some time in England.  Sure do miss the fish and chips.   I started writing in my youth when my vivid dreams stayed with me long after I had them.  The people and worlds were so amazing and detailed it was like I knew them inside and out.  You can meet them in my books.  They're alive there now, learning, loving, and experiencing everything they deserve.   I’m the mother of two children, a bird, a cat, and a rag-mop dog.  All-in-all, I love my life.  It affords me the opportunity to do what I love.  Spend time with my family and write, write, write.  Come on in and visit.  I’d love to hear from you!
