Hen lit critique anyone?
I have completed four books and this is my fifth. It's about 30,000 words to date and I am looking for someone who enjoys this genre and would be willing to critique. My writing group has changed over the years and doesn't really read what I write. I am interested in the answers to six or so specific questions, such as "Do you like my heroine and why or why not?" and any insights into why I am not a published writer eating bonbons while my pool boy does push ups.
No one is more surprised than Nancy when she drinks rubbing alcohol in a suicide attempt. Her vision of a perfect family just isn't working out. She joins an unconventional therapy group that gives her a series of tasks. Nancy isn't sure she's buying in but it gets her mind of an arson attempt, a kidnapping attempt and her sister moving in.
