Summer Reading List
What's on your summer reading list?
My TBR pile numbers in the hundreds... which greatly irritates my husband since he can't walk into a room without tripping on a book, lol
Books I plan to read by summer's end:
What Would Jane Austen Do? Laurie Brown
The Irish Warrior, Kris Kennedy
Knight of Pleasure, Margaret Mallory
My Wicked Marquess, Gaelen Folley
This Duches of Mine, Eloisa James
Highland Surrender, Dawn Halliday
What do you plan on reading this summer?
I don't really have a plan per se; once I finish a book I just ask myself what I'm in the mood for next (contemp, historical, series, or specific author) and then I pick from what I've got in that category. I guess I'm a mood reader (i think I'm a mood dresser as well!) :orange:

I'm such a mood reader -- even if it's an author I LOVE, if I'm not in the mood for that kind of story, I just can't get into it. So right now, I'm in a "family saga" type of mood -- stories that wrap around family issues. Read some of my old favs from Danielle Steel (and in doing so, realize how much writing has changed over the years). Kristin Hannah.
I have a handful of historical and suspense romances to read too, but not quite the mood for them yet. LOL
And fortunately, my TBD pile exists on my Kindle. No books to drive the hubby nuts. LOL
Well, my first "gotta read" was your new release, Take It Off, Warrior. I read that in one sitting by the pool...my e-reader got a lot of use that day! My next TBR is Sherry Thomas' new one, His At Night. If it's half as good as Not Quite A Husband, it'll be a keeper. Anna Campbell's Captive of Sin, Lisa Kleypas' Married by Morning, and Meredith Duran's Wicked Becomes You.
Ooh - I love the Eloisa James Duchess series! I've had the new Nora Roberts for a month now - reading it will be my reward as soon as I finish my WIP (talk about good motivation!). Looking forward to Christie Ridgway's new series and Gail Carriger's Changeless.
I have a huge list but I think the next one I am reading is by Tabitha Shay "Witch's Brew" and then I will go from there I also got a good ones from Abby Wood, Kate Richards "Finally, My Love" which came out today and Tara S Nichols just to name a few...
