Eyes of the Dead
"Aleka Nakis's Eyes of the Dead is a heartfelt romance, touching upon many of our fears, seeing us through them. Not only is this a novel that will tug at your heartstrings, you'll be aiding in the fight against a real live and very contemporary monster--breast cancer--with the purchase of this emotional story from a debut novelist who is already promising many more books for the future!"
NY Times Bestselling Author
What would you endure to find the cure for the disease that killed your mother? Exposure to venomous snakes? Raging rapids without a life jacket? Drug lords who dab in sex trafficking?
Would you relinquish control and trust your life in a dead manís hands?
Tiffany Jensen, a young breast cancer researcher, confronts her greatest fear and flies on a plane to a foreign country alone. Venturing into the dangerous terrain of the Mayan jungle, she is willing to do just about anything for the cure.
Antonio Francisco Fernandez, aka Agent AFFCROC, is open to only one possibility: getting Tiffany out of his territory and safely back to the States. Will his insistence deny her success, or struggling to find her way, will she come face to face with the eyes of the dead?
Can i have this one too please ??:notworthy: and breast cancer is such a good cause my aunt just had a masectomy(is that how you spell it ?) and my mum had a partial one 10 years ago
I've got this book. I loved it. Tiffany is so stubborn! LOL
I loved this book too. It's excellent and I was drawn into it from the word go.
Thanks for setting up this thread, Dani.
Not only is Tiffany stubborn, but Antonio is ...is... Shoot, I love the guy. He is hot, amazing, and can take me through the jungle any time.
Which excerpt do you think I should post, Dani and Bec? Soft and sensitive, or strong and brutal?

One of my best friends had a double mastectomy. We looked at every option available, tried alternative and medical treatments, and I'm happy to say she is clean!
Hence the birth of Tiffany's job. The rain forrest is very rich in treasures, and I put much research into the cures mentioned. Of course the book is fiction, and I'd never advocate to pass on medical treatment, but we should be aware of the gifts the earth gives us. We must take the time and investigate all avenues.
No problem Aleka! It's part of what I do.

I think you should post both. To show both sides of him. LOL!
