To Blog or Not to Blog
It seems to me that blogging is getting more popular. I'm currently involved in five different blogs and sometimes it's so hard to find time to keep up with them all, and yet, once I'm there, I enjoy having a place to voice my thoughts.
Coming in November, one of the blogs I'm on, The Writer's Grapevine, is hosting a huge event. We've invited a lot of authors to post Christmas excerpts or winter scenes. It's going to be a lot of fun and wow, some of the authors we've booked are some of my faves.
So - how do the rest of you view blogging? A necessary evil? Something fun and worthwhile? A time drainer?

I'm a blog freak. I love blogging.
I enjoy blogging. I've been doing it for a few years now. I think it's a great way to get visitors coming back to your website.
I really enjoy blogging. I have two of my own (if you don't count MySpace) and I'm running two for other organizations. I find it enjoyable. :-)
Hey Kimmy, I'm getting better at it. It's almost addictive, isn't it?

Sometimes I find myself at a loss as what to post. I want to make my blog a good one, that folks will find interesting, but alas! I'm as boring as a dust ball!
However, once I got into the thing, I find I do enjoy it. I've attempted to make it attractive, and now I'm starting on the 'like-minded author' interviews. That is so much more enjoyable than I'd imagined. :)
But there's still the question of finding time to create another book...*sigh*
Maybe if I follow the rainbow, I'll find the answer to that question. Better yet, if I find that pot of gold, I ain't gonna bother with writin' agin!
I love love LOVE blogs, hehe. I love reading other people's blogs, especially author's blogs :giggle:
I love to know what's in an author's head, it's usually fascinating and funny.
I myself have 2 blogs (not counting myspace), both on blogger. The first one is just a place where I can rant or talk about something that catches my eye, without fearing that I may say something to hurt someone's feelings, since most of my real life friends don't know about it, hehe.
And the second one I just started last month, it's just a place where I put my personal reviews of books I read. So far I only have 2 posts Laugh it Up fuzball with it being NaNo and all, I haven't had much time to read.
I have two blogs, one for writing related stuff and the other is my official one, but they both host authors and writing stuff really. I also keep posting going at a group blog, and my photo blog, and post regularly at livejournal and journalscape, myspace, and gather, ning, redroom, and I also Twitter. Gosh, you'd think I would HATE to be at the computer!
:dizzy: Good golly Molly, how do you have time to do anything else?
