Tator Tot Hotdish--this is a Wisconsin staple
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup (or more to taste) chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup (you can substitute w/cream of mushroom soup)
1 cup milk
1 bag frozen vegetables (peas and carrots is the standard, but sometimes I like to use corn or 1/2 bag corn & 1/2 bag green beans...whatever you and your family like)
1 bag frozen tator tots
Brown burger & onions, drain.
Mix the soup and milk until smooth. In a 9X13 baking dish, combine the burger, soup and vegetables. Place the tator tots in a single layer across the top. Bake according to the tator tot package, until the tots are golden brown.
