Well Dear Readers, if you've been looking to read a slave/master story different from any other ever written, you've come to the right place. The slow completion and release of a novel that is very dear to my heart has taken place and now, finally all of it, the entire trilogy is ready for purchase, download and reading. This trilogy journey began, believe it or not over 16 years ago. It was my first attempt at writing. These three books started out with the intent of being one. "Gold Raven" supposedly about, whom have now become the main characters, Ces'alena's (Lena) & Maynard (Manny) Ramsey Webster's daughter - Golden Hope Webster (Hope). However...I came to the scene where I was going to kill Lena off! I wrote the scene, which was an extreme struggle to do, switched off my typewriter and went to bed. My heart was pounding, my head was in a whirl, and tears came to my eyes. Simply put...I had fallen in love with my character, Lena. It felt as though I was actually killing off my own mother. The life of this character, had taken over. Thus, she came from being a secondary character, to being the main character of book one, now called, "Princess Ces'alena". Therefore, I gave their daughter, book two, which is, "Gold Raven". *Sigh* It is a very long and sweeping saga, going from one book, to two. Then, I realized that another character needed bringing out, because I also fell in love with him, and that one is Michael (Mike) Ramsey Webster, son of Lena and Manny who was sold right from under his father's nose. Traumatizing Lena into one tragic nightmare after another. Her life taking her on an unforgettable journey. This filled book two. Well wouldn't you know, the plot thickened. Another story developed, and many more characters were added, including an additional important character...and so lays the foundation for book three, "Family Reunion".
Considering that this story is one with the roots of slavery driving the plot, I know there are going to be those tempted to roll their eyes thinking, "Oh Great, just what the world needs, another slavery story." And you know what, I agree - it certainly does need another one...this one. With me as it's writer. In truth, this story is not about slavery, but about a family and their lives that existed in the time of slavery and what it did to their lives. Also, because I bring an entirely new flavor to the genre, no one who has read "The Webster Fields Trilogy" was disappointed. Instead, they were hyped, stunned and flying high for days after reading it. I strongly feel this to be true of all those who will read it. So dear reader, we (my husband, Lawrence James and I) offer you previews through the poetry that was written for it so many years ago and excerpts to each book. Many have seen the poetry, but had no idea of who or what it was tied to. Because it is all available you will see. Enough of this... read the poetry, taste a sample of all three books with the excerpts, and then... make your purchase... and prepare yourself to be drawn into the world of Manny and Lena as they fight for their lives and their children's in Webster Fields!

Princess Ces'alena
Princess Ceś alena, you’ve touched my heart,
enslaved my soul, right from the start.
Your smile so bright, your eyes boldly gold,
but to love you not, is what I’m told.
Your skin so brown, so smooth, so soft,
and in all of my dreams, within you I am lost.
Oh yes it is true, a white man I be,
the spell that you’ve cast, I’ve tried to break free.
God only knows of my struggle to kill,
and deny you the love, in my heart that I feel.
Manny I am, a powerful man,
not often moving from where ever I stand.
Then Lena comes, a blinding light,
my strength I then lose, and no longer think right.
Before me she is, I can’t understand,
how weak I become, from one touch of her hand.
Okay, I give up, and admit I am through,
for each day that passes, I find myself falling,
deeper, and deeper … in love with you!

Recovering from his lapse from life and his inability to handle his loss, Jordan gruffly sets his master and best friend back on the path and goal he swore to...to find Lena, and his children; which of whom are now teenage and adult. Here in book two, the findings for bringing the family back together after the long separation begins.

Seek, To Find...
Oh why is it said,
and a fact to be true,
things that mean the most,
is what's taken from you?
And while we have them,
we neglect to hold them dear,
and until they are gone,
does our heart feel the fear.
So, from that moment on,
in our dreams, in our hopes,
we pray deep in our minds...
But only those using true wisdom seeking,
are the ones who actually find...

Family ReunionMy father, my father, he who started it all,
the seed that he cast, took root and held fast,
and our tree has grown strong and tall.
My mother, my mother, the rich fertile soil,
who took in his seed, and birthed in great toil.
Who held, loved, and enriched us,
who taught that in life, god we must trust,
and to succeed learning was a must!
My family, my family, they’re spread far and near,
to think of them, rending my heart; bringing tears,
my need to touch base, I feel it so strong,
separated we’ve been, for much much too long.
My husband, my husband,
whom they’ve truly yet to meet,
I love with all my heart, he makes my world complete.
My brother I worry, will not understand.
My father was absent, not giving my hand.
My mother, will observe him,
with her insightful eye, the reason that I love him,
I know she’ll see why.
But oh, woe is me, I cannot be weak,
it’s my father, and my brother that scares me
to see, how my husband, they might possibly
greet.
Well… no matter the outcome,
I’ll discard my fear,
the day of my family, has finally drawn near.
So the distance we’ll travel,
preparation we’ve done…
we’re all together finally,
for the family reunion.
