Hello everyone,
I am so glad to have this message board provided by Coffee Time Romance. What a great way to stay in contact with all the readers and authors who frequent the board regularly.
Just a few words about myself. I am on the verge of turning 50 years old. In fact, you could say I'm balancing on the edge. I will be 50 in September. Yes, I am a Virgo in the true sense of the word. Other Virgos will understand what I mean by this.
I am happily married, at least 99% of the time, and have been for 27 years. There's always that 1% when he asks that stupid question that makes me wonder why I married him. We have no children, but I have two stepchildren and 4 grandchildren. Since the one older granddaughter received a cell phone, we here from her often. That may stop once her mother gets that bill![]()
My day job? Well, I work in a middle school as librarian and teacher of English. Yes, some people believe I am crazy for working with this age student. But once you get to know them and realize they are driven by hormones, you understand where they are coming from. (But of course, with menopause looming in my future, I understand being driven by hormones.)
As for my writing, I have been writing since I was around twelve years old, but the true need to write didn't hit me until I was a senior in high school. I had a terrific English teacher who encouraged me to put my writing out there for all to see. In college I published a few short stories and poems in the college literary magazine.
In 2002, I broke into the romance market with Hold On to My Heart, a contemporary romantic suspense. You can read about this book on my website, www.judilynne.com. It is currently out of print, but if you are interested, I have one copy, and it can also be found on ebay.I couldn't believe my book was on sale on ebay. That was just one of those "Huh" moments.
Currently, I have a new release Aidan's Chance which is available through all online venues as well as my website. If you want a personally autographed one, you can buy it through my website. Check out my other post on Aidan's Chance for the brief plot description.
Hope to hear from some of you. I'm going to try to do a daily posting, called Random Thoughts. It will probably be something that just amazes me for that day. I'm be glad to hear your opinions on that also.
Judi
