    Default My 3D artwork...

    Hi Folks,

I cannot possibly be the only one that indulges in creating 3d art with Poser and other programs.....here's your opportunity to share with me and others!

I have a gallery on my website with art that I have created for my visitors to use as desktop wallpapers. I will be adding to this regularly so check back often! You can check out my stuff here: www.reginapaul.110mb.com/Gallery.html

    I hope you'll go and take a look! :-)

    Hugs,
    Regina

Wink You're Not The Only One!...:-)

Your artwork is gorgeous! I don't know anything about creating art such as yours, but I LOVE creating such things as banners, logos, e-mail sigs, logos, monograms, book covers, wedding announcements, backgrounds, and those nifty MySpace comments...pretty much any kind of graphic for use on the web. I also enjoy photo retouching and enhancement through special effects. I suppose that makes me a geekstress...

Default Like Beth with my art

Hi all, I'm more like Beth. I use Adobe Photoshop a lot, more as a tool than a medium. I'm actually more partial to creating art the old fashioned way. Watercolor is my medium of choice. That or print making. I absolutely love making 3-color reduction monoprints. The result always includes that surprise factor because the medium allows for happy accidents.

You can view my artwork at www.ciaragold.com and I'm also webmistress for my RWA chapter. I'm still working on some of the pages, but you can see the logo I designed for the webpage at www.northwesthoustonrwa.com I was pretty proud of it.

And Regina, I enjoyed looking at your work. I tinkered enough with the 3-D programs to respect anyone who has the patience for that medium.

    Hi Ciara,

I just had to go and take a look at your artwork. How beautiful! I also do watercolors but nothing on the scale you do. As I mentioned in the other post I can't draw at all, so most of mine are abstract or very simple paintings. I've done some from dreams I've had as well but mostly symbols there.

Oooo, I'd love to see some of your abstracts. I looked at your site, but all I saw was the 3-D stuff (which is very cool). I have students that can work with the 3-D programs, but not me. One of my students just graduated from Ringling in Florida and he's going to be working for Dreamworks. I'm just amazed at all the talent folks have when it comes to the 3-D programs. All they did was frustrate me. LOL

    Hey Beth,

A woman after my own heart! LOL Thank you so much for the compliment! :-)I've only been doing it for about a year, but I really love it because (snicker) I can't draw worth a damn! But it looks like I can when you look at my pictures.

Same here, Beth! I love playing in Photoshop, and have been honored to be able to create two CD covers for a musician with my art and design work. What I've concentrated on in the last couple of years or so is creating computer paintings: a combination of photos and hand painting by using a graphics tablet. I used this technique on my newest book. On my first book, I scanned in an old pastel sketch and manipulated it for use on the cover, along with a photo of trees I had taken earlier.

    The first:

    The second:

This also used a photo I had taken at an actual concert. ;-)

Great art work. My daughter and Grand daughter loves to draw too. They are both really good too.

    Default I Love 3D...

Many of you know that I create art in both Poser and Daz Studio. Although to be honest in order to save on hard drive space I'm now just working with Daz Studio. Also I've found that you can do some things with Daz Studio that you can't do with Poser and being able to do some of those special effects makes for some relatively stunning pictures. The learning curve with Daz Studio is much shorter than with Poser as well. I still love Poser but it's very memory intensive so I'll have to wait until later when I have more memory to work with it again.

If you'd like to take a look at some of my art you can do so here: http://www.reginapaul.com/Gallery.html and here: http://free-wallpaper-4-u.blogspot.com/

I have lots of free desktop wallpapers between the two places. :-)

    Enjoy!
