This is one that really concerns me. I am a teacher and librarian at a middle school. As years have progressed, I notice that the students do not read as much as they did when I went to school. Despite the fact that I buy all the books I believe students like and are recommmended by students here, I see fewer and fewer students enjoying reading. It is a bit disheartening. I remember going to the library as a child and checking out books every week and reading hours upon hours. I just hope we aren't turning our young ones into a society of audio/video dependent generation.
