Yeah How do you like to celebrate?

Seeing as 'Partying' keeps coming up as a theme with the BB, and tomorrow is my 5th wedding anniversary (not my fifth wedding, just fifth anniversary), I thought I'd throw the question of "How do you Celebrate?" out there. It doesn't have to be anniversary related, it can be because you just sold a book to your dream publisher, or... because you matched up EVERY sock in your sock collection (an impossible task).

My husband has come up with a few ideas that brought a smile to my mouth, ideas that involve a babysitter, supper, a hotel, and I think someone mentioned the SPA! (I've never been to the spa)

Well today I finished my last final and I have the summer off. I went to the mall, got a book, and a venti latte.

That sounds like a great way to celebrate, rewarding and relaxing. Congrats by the way!

We go and watch the submarine races at the river. That's what we always told the kids we were doing when we'd sneak away for a couple hours. Of course, now they know that there are no submarine's in the river and even if there were, you can't watch them race because they are underwater. But, it is our excuse to go park at the water, have dinner, and the much needed alone time.

You know, I don't like cherry pie either, but that could be very sexy!

    Happy anniversary!

Submarine races! That's brilliant, and priceless, and I might just try it!

You can also use the "We're going to park and watch the airplanes land." Only works if you don't live by an airport. lol My poor kids, I bet they thought hubs and I got to go do all the fun stuff while they were stuck at home.

Yeah, American Pie did something along those lines, but it could be very sexy... lol.

Birthdays and anniversaries hubby takes me out to dinner at favorite restaurant. Not an author so have no release parties. Just dull boring things I suppose.

Oh, but alone time is not dull and boring. Quite the opposite...I have four kids very close in age and I live for those boring dinners and uninterrupted conversations. Although, I live on a farm, so even going to a restaurant is splurging for me. lol
