I was just reading about the love letters of Richard Burton to Liz Taylor being published this month in Vanity Fair mag and I found even the few excerpt lines so touching, my eyes began to burn with tears.
Then I started to wonder if love letters are a lost art. In years to come will anyone have a box of "love e-mails or love-texts" hidden in a pretty box?
In fact I have found the concept of a love letter so compelling that I have decided to use it in my current WIP.
I wonder, when was the last time you received or wrote a love letter...on real paper, written with real ink?
What was the most touching love letter you have ever received and why?
If you have any love letters stashed around the house, I'd be thrilled if you would share a few lines from them.
May there always be romance in your life,
