Yesterday was a full day. It was exciting, stimulating, gratifying and I got to bask in the spoltlight, so to speak! I received a lot of congratulations from other wonderful authors and I can't explain what it felt like to see it out there in the big, wonderful world of books with an 'add to cart' link. Way cool. But the very best thing about release day by far? I received an email from a peron who'd read the book yesterday. Someone I didn't know (and who I hadn't even begged or bribed to buy it LOL). She went to the trouble of letting me know she loved the book and is looking forward to the next one. It was so awesome. THAT'S why I write and THAT was the best thing about release day for me. I made someone happy with my work.
