My computer greeted me this morning with an announcement that my virus program had isolated a trojan, and advised a full, in-depth scan to ensure all was well. That event took nearly four hours to complete. When I was able to log in again, it announced it had discovered an additional java-related suspicious file and recommended strongly that I run a disc boot scan.

So it's now nearly 5pm and I am finally able to get online. On a good note, my kitchen is clean, my laundry is folded, the bed is made, and I even managed to scrub the bathroom.

Now... if I can manage not to do whatever it was I did yesterday that caused the idiot problem in the first place, maybe it won't seem like such a bad day. Wish me luck.
