Open House 01/01/2012: Welcome 2012! So long, 2011!

Happy New Year!

Last year saw eight releases for me, a couple new contracts, my first novel in ebook, my first paperback release, moderate increase in sales, my first silver star at ARE, a bunch of great reviews, and a lot of work. It was exhausting, frankly.

2012 brings my first single-author anthology, my first single-author paperback, my first novel in paperback, my second novel in ebook, my first blog tour, and, hopefully, many other things I can't foresee at the moment.

My resolutions are to write, to publish, to work hard, and to enjoy myself. Simple, but that's about it. I have a few specific goals, but the main point is to keep on loving what I do.

One little disappointment today - the book I started my New Year off with, as a reader, was less than thrilling. I hope there's no superstition attached to that.

Oh well, the year is not yet a whole day old. There will be plenty more, and better, books to read!
